We wanted to offer our people a way to give electronically and EasyTithe has made that possible.

Pros

The mobile and PC interfaces are very easy for users to make donations, and they receive a receipt email that we customized.

Cons

Admins see everything, but support people could only see reports with dollars by date/category with no personal data.

We received the benefit of introducing our organization, congregation, volunteers, supporters and others to a convenient, safe, user-friendly program for financial giving that has opened the door for our church to offer quality service that provides convenience in giving that many are looking for in a church today.

Pros

It provides the ability for us to professionally and efficiently track online giving while also establishing another level of online outreach with those whom we engage with through the service.

Cons

Since I don't understand the thoroughness of what can be done with the reports, I will have to say that I am not sure.

EasyTithe made our transition from the envelope system to online giving exceptionally smooth.

Pros

We've used EasyTithe online giving platform at church for about seven years.

Cons

The options are limited and our giving secretary has to import data and rework it a bit when she does end of year reports.

I use easyTithe as both a donor and administrator and I find it to be easy to navigate and useful.

I also get the benefit of tracking payments and keeping records as an administrator.

Pros

I like being able to sort the different giving categories by various fields, such as by donor, by giving account and by time periods such as monthly and yearly.

Cons

I personally cannot think of anything but some of the users who contact me as administrator say they have trouble updating their method of payment. Although that's probably just user error.

This was impacting both our church suppers and our giving. EasyTithe took care of both of these problems.

Pros

You can also turn on and off the fund codes for seasonal events so you can keep the fund list current.

Cons

The usual learning curve with a new process took a little while to get used to.

Cons

The changes in third-party provider has been frustrating in regards in reconciling donor contributions with the correct fund from the batch deposits posted on the bank side to the batch deposits recorded online.

Having all the donor's contact information with the donation is very helpful for me as I must record all donations for a year end giving record.

Pros

I have looked for less expensive options for a merchant provider but have found that Easy Tithe provides all the necessary features that I need to record all our member giving.

Cons

Occasionally, a donation doesn't show up in a timely way when I print reports. The donation is made in the early hours of the morning and they aren't recorded in the same day as the date of donation.

I can go to reports and donations and match up the donations with the bank statements.

Cons

Don't like the CashLinq and Easytithe co-working together, should be one company. Using 2 companies to do the work of one seems odd. It should be one place to get answers not 2 different [places.

They always do what they can to help you, however many of the issues I have had were not things that turned out to be design flaws, and beyond the scope of their job duties.

Pros

Most of our user have had little, if any, difficulties using this software.

Cons

There is a separate transaction report that must be pulled if you need to see any comments left by the donors, because comments do not show up on deposit reports.

Very bad customer support

Both online and mobile collection of donations from church members

Pros

If your looking for an online giving tool this does the job Its easy to use , they give you a link to embed on your church's website and there is a mobile app to collect donation on the phone

Cons

Their customer support has gotten really bad over the past couple of months its currently the worst i have seen out there for a US based company its actually embarrassing we send out tickets and it takes over a month with no response and when you call in you could be on hold for over an hour with no response. we are currently shopping for over providers

It is convenient for our contributors; however there is as every giving software a fee.

Pros

The Easytithe software is easily integrated into our Fellowship one software and the lines items are easily noted on the bank statements as well as on Fellowship one report.

The Easy tithe report formatting is pretty basic, yet it is easy to understand and the customer service team was able to guide me to which reports I needed.

Overall I would say we are pleased with easyTithe and the components we use.

Pros

As a donor it is easy to set up and use.

Cons

Sometimes the donor names do not show up on the batch reports, and I have even had a situation where the deposit at the bank did not have a batch report to match it.
