Pros and cons

They also give you a fair amount of promotional tools to promote and encourage generous giving. 10 out 10 would recommend Kindrid.
Kindrid is very user friendly and offers a great interface for the end user which can be very appealing for the organization.
I love working with Kindrid they have a great product and the best customer service out there.
The only downside for the software is that there is a fee for card services. As a user, you have the option to pay this fee so that the church doesn't incur those costs.
We really miss the addresses of the new contributors.
Difficult transition on the back end and seems we are consistently having issues on processing.

Kindrid/Give.Church has changed the way our givers contribute to our church with great ease

Reviewed 5 years ago

Faster, Simpler, and more Efficient record reporting.

Pros

The Kindrid software has made our end of the month reconciling so much simpler with the way it syncs with so many avenues of our database system. With our organizations running all contribution records through Shelby Arena, Kindrid has made the importing and communication process very smooth between the two systems.

Cons

I am not one for typing many bad reviews... But one thing that could be worked on in regards to wrapping up an end of the month giving statement. Once, you have dispersed funds for the month, there are some times where a refund may hit after the end of the month amounts have been closed causing the CSV and XML reports to not reflect the refunds or just cancel out the previous gift. We have had to manually make these corrections before importing the contributions into Shelby Arena.

Text to Give

Reviewed 2 years ago

Kindrid is a wonderful company. If you need help in any way their techs are always helpful and walk you through any thing you need help with. They will do one on one training with you if you want it.

Pros

It is easy to set up the software . It has multiple features that allow it to be used for more than just regular donations. The ability to set up forms for events is a great asset . They have online training and whenever there are updates they walk you through the new features.

Cons

Not the software per se but when someone accidentally gives a wrong amount by ACH it takes up to 10 days to be able to refund the money back to the bank account. It is not Kindrid's fault, but is it frustrating, A donation by credit card can be refunded immediately..

Kindred is very simple and easy to use.

Reviewed 5 years ago

Kindrid is very easy to use and very cost effective for organiations who want to get this going current and active.

Pros

Kindrid is very simple to use. The previews display are also helpful to see updates on where the organization is at. It is also ver cost effective for non-profit organzations.

Cons

Kindrid did not tie in well with our app that was also doing the same thing. It would also be nice to have templates that automatically go to update donors as well.

Give.Church is a Simple, Fantastic Solution

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall, we love Give.Church. Not only is it a great giving solution for churches, but they are easy to work with. The staff at Give.Church is responsive and well trained on their products. We highly recommend them to you!!

Pros

Our church has used Give.Church for two years now. We originally signed up because of the belief that texting to give was going to be the next wave for donation technology in the church. We love the ease of use and the ability for anyone with a cell phone and texting capabilities to start giving within a couple of minutes.

Cons

The one thing that we wish were a little easier to use is the online giving function. While it is sufficient (and efficient for for software development purposes), it still relies on the platform of a cell phone number to give. We haven't had any significant pushback from this feature, but it makes online giving slightly more cumbersome than other platforms.

Great for all size churches

Reviewed 3 years ago

Kindrid has truly turned our church around financially. The ease of giving has provided everyone with a secure and convenient way to tithe.

Pros

What I like most about his software is the convenience it gives our congregation. We are a church full of college students and millenials who don't carry cash or checks with them. Kindrid allows them to be faithful without having to remember to bring money every Sunday. They can give at any time!

Cons

The things that I liked least about his software have recently changed. Instead of taking their fee out of each deposit, making it hard to keep track, they have started just charging one monthly amount based on that month's giving total.

Very simple and great rates.

Great giving solution

Pros

Simplicity. Cheaper rates. Great customer service. They have always been very responsive and very helpful. The user experience is really simple and fairly intuitive.

Cons

Lacking some basic features. Dashboard is pretty basic. Lacks more detailed reporting. Basic questions like how many recurring givers, how many new givers, etc are hard to track down.

Vendor response

Hey Steve! Thanks for sharing your experience using our platform. We hear you on the needed dashboard updates. Happy to report that we're currently working on a redesign that we hope will make your job a whole lot easier. We'll let you know when it's ready! Grateful to serve you guys!

Great program for online giving

Reviewed 5 years ago

We are a new church that rents from another church. A few times a year we have to meet off campus. With the online option people are able to give, without us having to secure all of their tithes while off site.

Pros

How easy it makes it for the church and our donors. Not just for tithes but also paying for outings and small groups. Creating designations for different things is a life saver. More and more of our people are taking advantage.

Cons

If anything, that it seems to only work through text. Even if you use the button provided for your website. That is minor though.

User friendly text giving

Reviewed 5 years ago

I love that I can send an individual giver a link to exactly what amount, frequency, and/or designation they're looking for, and I love that the security measure of a pin is in place. I am finding, however, that the pin number is difficult for our older users to understand - that's not necessarily Give.Church's responsibility to fix, but maybe if there were another option given (many websites give the choice between text or email, or take other routes to verify identity), it'd help those who want to use it but have trouble.

Pros

The ability to make quick work of any edits or reports I need to run.

Cons

The lack of more customization options - I'd love to be able to customize the size of the text, the background color or image, the addition of something that encourages ACH giving built into the giving page, not just a separate link I can send. Maybe to be able to build the page into something that can be embedded instead of opened in a new window.

Kindrid is extremely easy to use. Great customer support.

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Kindrid is very easy to use. Any time help is needed they respond quickly and efficiently. Text giving key words are easy to add. Settlement list of deposits is easy to understand and to export as needed.

Cons

Only con, is I wish there was some type of notification when a new giver needs to be matched. I don't always remember to check and it would great to know when I needed to take care of that.

Idiot Proof! Anybody can give on this platform.

Reviewed 5 years ago

Since we began using give.church our online gifts have steadily increased. We've used designations to target first time givers and it's been great. Consistent upgrades and new features are keeping us on the cutting edge of digital giving in church. Love it!

Pros

Far and away the easiest user process I've ever used.

Cons

I honestly have a hard time finding a problem with it. At first they didn't take ACH payments and that was my biggest issue. But they added that option.

Using Kindrid

Reviewed 5 years ago

Great and I would definitely recommend it to someone else

Pros

It's very user friendly. I would definitely recommended it to everyone.

Cons

You can't use spaces in your sub-categories. For example our church has categories for people to give via text such as: Student Ministry, Young Adults, etc... But when we type it via text or set it up in the admin side we have to type YoungAdults without a space.

Love kindrid

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Easy to use, love the fact they use the stripe platform. Also the fact the credit card fees are shown. Love the way the export report looks.

Cons

We really miss the addresses of the new contributors. I have so many people with the same names in my database so the address is helpful. Also some of our users don't have a cell phone so using an email to log In would be a great thing.

Great experience. Anytime I have a question, the team at Kindrid is extremely quick to respond.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use. Since our church implemented Kindrid and replaced our old giving provider, our complaints with end-users have completely stopped. It is very intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

No complaints at this time. Everything works exactly as it should.

I love Kindrid

Reviewed 5 years ago

Kindrid has provided us with a Christian giving platform. We never had a text-to-give feature before Kindrid. We ditched PayPal in favor of Kindrid. It's been one of the best moves I've ever made!

Pros

I was easy to customize. The Kindrid staff was great answering questions. The interface & dashboard is user friendly. Exporting giving info was extremely easy.

Cons

I don't know that I have a problem with the software, the only problem I had was in the delays processing the ACH transactions. This takes forever, such a bummer.

Works great!

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

I like how it integrates with CCB. It makes it easier to transfer online giving by not having to manually post them all.

Cons

Sometimes some gifts have been pushed over to CCB more than they need to and it's a little difficult to balance. I wish there was an "other" designation with a text box.

Our experience with Kindrid has been good.

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

The site is easy to use, with an attractive and appealing look. We get decent reports that help us each week and month.

Cons

We cannot choose what we wish to deposit based on dates. This feature should be considered as it helps with monthly and yearly breakdowns. I personally hate sitting at the computer at midnight on New Years' Eve, waiting to press the button so we don't get a stray person giving in the new year before we clear out the previous year.

Super convenient and easy to use!

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Kindrid allows me and other members of our church to easily tithe at any time without having to remember to bring cash or a check! In society's growing reliance on technological advances, Kindrid encourages faithful giving through ease of access continued success.

Cons

My only con would be the ability to generate information on the website. I am an account administrator and the church treasurer and it is slightly inconvenient to find totals for individual givers within a specific time period. I have to export the data to an excel spreadsheet in order to see totals.

Kindrid Ease of Use

Reviewed 5 years ago

We had been using their services for a few months. At year-end, so the end of December and beginning of January, they held our donations. I did not realize this because I wasn't receiving other notifications, just what hit our bank. They told me they were waiting until our donations reached a certain amount before they would send us money. This made closing my books very difficult. However, they did have great customer service throughout the process.

Pros

I like the functionality of the interface. It is easy to use and download reports. I have never had training navigating the system and at the same time I have never had an issue teaching myself. It is very intuitive.

Cons

I am sure we do not use the software to its full extent, but I think for the price I am not sure we will. I wish the full amount of our sales came through to our bank and we saw fees later. It is slightly more difficult from an accounting perspective that I see required price hit our bank and not the amount that was intended.

Kindrid is one of the best giving platforms available today.

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

The software is easy to use, with a great user interface on the front and back end that not only makes giving a breeze, but also helps our internal team with easy reporting and financial information. They also offer the lowest rates on processing fees, which saves us a lot of money compared to other options. Don't be fooled by other companies offering lower monthly rates - processing fees are where you'll rack up the most cost, and Kindrid has the lowest fees available that I could find.

Cons

N/A - Things have been great from our perspective. We really appreciate everything available from Kindrid.

Increased member satisfaction, reduced tracking a paperwork.

Pros

I haven't encountered any bugs yet. The system performs consistently. The team is very responsive and provides great support.

Cons

There are a few features I'd like to see added: a longer time frame for the administrator to send back refunds, ability to send communications via text to givers and drill down capabilities by giver name. These would be nice to haves but overall I'd recommend the product.

Kindrid makes giving easy

Reviewed 5 years ago

Our transition to Kindrid went very smoothly. Resources provided in advance by Kindrid allowed our organization to be prepared and to communicate clearly to our users the changes that would coming. Since moving to Kindrid, our users have not complained about the software and giving has been steady. We consider no news good news.

Pros

The software was intuitive, clean, and simple to navigate.

Cons

Nothing. We found the software suitable for our needs.
