Jonah G.: Hey, my name's Jonah. I'm a business development manager. I rate Txt2Give, four out of five, and for more views like this click below. When we were reviewing softwares for this particular solution, we were looking for a platform that provided us a texting to donate option, that would allow us to customize the look, feel, and workflow of the experience, so that we could provide an optimized experience for our clients/donors. We didn't find any options other than Txt2Give that gave us the flexibility to accomplish this and that's why we chose Txt2Give. So Txt2Give provides great integration options with many different payment processors, including our main payment processor, which is made for a direct transaction reception and connection with any financial institutions. So, because Txt2Give gave us the option to work with our existing partners, and because Txt2Give gave us the option to set up multiple different payment options for our donors, it gave us the options to set up different payment gateways, as well as different allocation options for our donors. Those are some of the reasons why Txt2Give were a great choice for us. Getting started with Txt2Give was extremely easy. They have a great support team that is very responsive and helped us get set up with very minimal effort on our end. The user interface is extremely user-friendly, so everything is laid out in a way that's easy to understand. And when there are things that are a little bit unclear with other providers, in terms of setting up integrations with payment providers, there are great walk-throughs and great intuitive help text, to help make sure that those processes are easy. If you're interested in Txt2Give, I would recommend doing a good review of their software platform, going through their website, as well as speaking to their sales team. Their sales team is extremely knowledgeable and can help answer any questions you have. In particular, I would be sure to know exactly what you're looking for, as there a lot of different options in the Txt2Give space. For example, if you're looking specifically for a texting short code to give, or if you're looking for more flexible giving options for your donors, you're going to want to look in different places, so make sure that you have a really clear list of the features that you want and your text data platform.

When we first began offering this donation method to our donors we weren't sure exactly how often it would be used. It seems to have become one of the main ways that people give.
Txt2Give is wonderful in every way. Their team is top notch and it shows in their product, service, continued improvements and support.
The only thing that I would like more is to be able to send a mass text message directly to our donors. This feature maybe added in the future.

Overall it has been a good experience for us to use
Easy to get reports to post from and help was quick and easy to receive re questions
lately the reports are more difficult to get because to print off you have to page down and extend the info so I can access it

It is very fast and easy for young and old. I use it every week on the stage while the offering is being received and it only takes 10 seconds. I get instant confirmation and it is in our database just as quick. It has saved significant inputting time for our record keeper. It works in Canada with a Canadian phone number!

It was simple to get it "up and running" and provided a seamless platform from our donors to our credit card processor. We found that most of our event guests preferred to use Txt2Give over swiping their credit cards. I was appreciative of the reminders that people received to complete their donations as many of them did so when reminded. If there had been no reminder, I doubt the donations would have been completed.
It seemed a bit pricey for the amount of time it was available to us. That being said, it paid for itself in donations on the day of the event. We have regular small-scale events and I would use Txt2Give at those if it was available to me all of the time, but I'm sure we can't afford it. I would like an annual rate that wouldn't break the bank. We are a small organization with a small budget. We had to ponder long and hard before we made the investment in Txt2Give. Since we only used it on the day of the event (not including the following couple days of reminders), it seems like their should have been lower price available.

We do have a monthly option you can use to use Txt2Give throughout the year. It starts at just $25/month. Our hope is that's affordable for any nonprofit, even ones that are on a tight budget. Our church really enjoys using Txt2Give because of how easy it is to give!
If you are like me, always forgetting to carry cash or my check book, Txt2Give is the easiest way to give. It is very easy to do, and easy to follow the step by step directions. No tech knowledge required. If you can text you can give! Simple as that. our church and our congregation uses it pretty regularly.
I don't feel like I have found any cons with this software, as long as you follow the steps you should be able to use it properly.
