Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ProcessMaker overview
What is ProcessMaker?
ProcessMaker offers Enterprise businesses a process management (BPM) and workflow software solution that can be deployed online via the cloud or installed on-premise. Claiming to improve efficiency across the build, run, report, and optimization of business processes, ProcessMaker pairs an intuitive desktop UI with mobile apps. Available across three scalable pricing tiers of Standard, Corporate and Enterprise, the product’s core feature set includes a drag and drop BPMN 2.0 Process Designer for diagramming activities, events and gateways. The web-based editor also imports and exports in BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation), while a Dynaform Designer similarly makes responsive HTML5 web form composition easier without requiring any coding. Basic and customizable advanced dashboards visualize KPI data, with other tools adding an output document builder, email cases inbox, plus user management options for setting role-based access permissions.
REST API support allows developers to extend integration and interaction with third party apps, beyond those already compatible. The ProcessMaker mobile apps for iOS and Android then go further with online and offline forms access and native features. These include personal and group inboxes, form auto-saving, case search functionality and specific fields for mobile form creation including finger signature capture, barcode scanning, geo-tagging, plus attachment support for images, audio and video etc.
Key benefits of using ProcessMaker
• DynaForm Designer for creating HTML5 / JavaScript compliant, responsive and multi-lingual forms, subforms and grids without writing code, while allowing forms to be previewed across device platforms.
• Dashboard reporting promises personalized visibility onto process and employee performance with data visualizations, including two KPIs for measuring Process Efficiency Index (PEI) and Employee Efficiency Index (EEI).
• Additional core features include an output document builder for creating an array of printable output documents, user management for configuring role-based access, plus user portal and email cases inbox facilities.
• ProcessMaker companion mobile app for Android and iOS devices works alongside ProcessMaker 3.X to build workflow components, run processes, receive automated notifications, build custom dashboards and study performance metrics.
• REST API support enables developers to integrate ProcessMaker with other third party applications or script server interactions.
