Key tools include advanced remote desktop sharing, system manager, Wake on LAN, remote command prompt, file manager, registry, remote shutdown and more.

ManageEngine offers HIPAA compliant, advanced remote control functionality that enables system administrators and help desk technicians to support the network’s computers from anywhere. Users can assist Mac, Windows and Linux computers with over ten high quality features including file transfer, multi-monitor support, integrated chat, record remote sessions, collaborative troubleshooting, and more. The system manager tool helps remotely access and manage any client's computer and services to resolve issues quickly through features such as access command prompt, registry, event viewer, file sharing, printer and device management, and more.

Voice, video and text chat capabilities enables technicians to instantly collaborate with the end user to remotely provide assistance and help during troubleshooting. Users can initiate chats from home screen, as well as via the remote control screen. The wake on LAN feature allows users to turn remote computers on on-demand, individually or in bulk with a few clicks, and get detailed agent status updates. The smart remote shutdown component shows which live computers have zero active users and remotely turns them off, locks them, or puts them to sleep. Audit-ready, real-time reports help users maintain records on all activity which provide them with visibility on the tasks performed in a holistic view.
