Q. What is AssetTiger used for?

AssetTiger is a cloud-based asset management software provided by MyAssetTag.com which enables the tracking of equipment and assets across multiple locations, sites, and categories. The software is free for first 250 assets, and includes check-in/out functionality, configurable alerts, maintenance scheduling, customizable reporting, and more. AssetTiger allows users to manage and track an unlimited number of assets, categories, sites, locations, contracts, warranties, and leases. Assets can be tracked by their tag, ID, category, person, department, location, area, or warranty, and asset tag barcodes can be scanned using a smartphone, tablet, or handheld scanner. Asset data can be recorded in an unlimited number of custom fields, and a detailed log of all equipment check-outs can be maintained. Contracts and licenses can be stored and organized in AssetTiger, with automated alerts for upcoming contract expirations. AssetTiger allows users to create alarms and reminders for assets requiring regular maintenance, or those which are past due for scheduled maintenance. A range of predefined reports are built in, and users can add data about asset statuses, check-out times, maintenance, depreciation, and more, to customize reports. An unlimited number of customizable group security and user privilege levels give full control over what each team member can access.
