What is Third Light?
Chorus from Third Light is a digital asset management system for creating, managing, sharing and publishing digital media assets. Designed specifically to enable team collaboration the software can be hosted locally on a clients own network, or managed by Third Light in the cloud. Upload and categorise media into folders, collections or smart collections and use Metadata to enable simple search and retrieval based on captions, keywords, location, time, date and much more. In addition, Spaces can be customized to mirror teams workflow preferences and adopt desired corporate branding.
Chorus also facilitates collaboration by packaging built-in file edit and conversion tools, while applying version controls, access rules and user tracking. Administrators can monitor how the system and assets are being used via a secure audit trail, while resting assured of automated backups and system updates. Advanced features are introduced across three account versions, with Chorus available in Base, Plus and Data Center editions. With storage capacity from 1TB and latterly unlimited as an outright license, extra features such as workflow management, approval, duplication detection and in-library messaging are added.
