What is SELMA SIS?

SELMA SIS is a modern, cloud-native student management system purpose-built for vocational education providers, registered training organisations, private training establishments, and higher education institutions in Australia, New Zealand, and globally.

SELMA manages the complete student lifecycle from first enquiry through to graduation -- covering CRM and recruitment, enrolment management, curriculum and timetabling, attendance tracking, assessments, compliance reporting, finance management, and digital certification in one integrated platform.

SELMA's native CRM manages prospective student enquiries, application pipelines, and recruitment workflows without requiring a separate CRM tool. A native form builder captures student interactions from the very first keystroke -- not just on form submission -- giving admissions teams complete visibility of every prospect from the moment they engage. Multi-employee enrolment forms support corporate and workplace training providers managing bulk registrations.

SELMA integrates bi-directionally with Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, and Cloud Assess. Student enrolments automatically provision LMS access, and assessment results and unit completions flow back from the LMS into SELMA automatically -- keeping compliance data current without manual exports or duplicate data entry. Managed Moodle hosting is available through SELMA with integration included.

SELMA is purpose-built for Australian and New Zealand compliance requirements. Australian features include AVETMISS reporting and NCVER submission, USI verification, CRICOS international student management, CoE generation, state funding contract reconciliation across all jurisdictions, and training.gov.au integration. New Zealand features include SDR reporting for TEC funded providers, direct ITR API integration for work based training, NZQA unit standard reporting, and UIP compliance for international providers.

Full Xero integration provides bi-directional sync of invoices, payments, and student fees. Stripe integration enables online fee collection at the point of enrolment. Agent commission management, homestay fee processing, and payment plan management are included.

International student management covers visa and passport tracking with automated expiry alerts, OSHC monitoring, offer letter generation with digital signature, agent commission calculation, homestay placement management, and student fee protection integration.

SELMA's no-code workflow builder automates repetitive tasks across enrolment, compliance, and reporting. Build automated workflows without technical expertise to reduce administrative overhead and free staff for higher-value work.
