Receipt Bank is really a time saver software in term of keeping records of your expenses receipt. Moreover, its integration with accounting software like Xero is very useful.

This software has streamlined the ways clients supply paperwork to my practice. Clients are generally happy with using it and it is very intuitive.

It is also easy to find a copy of an invoice when required. I really like that you don't even need to print off the invoice, you can email it to your Dext account and it will upload it for you.

Clients can be confused about submitting multiple invoices by email. Doesn't split across classes/departments in basic product.

Overall I think it is a good program and helps streamline daily activities.

I use Dext Prepare multiple time a day for various businesses

Big process improvement! When I started, we had multiple individual accounts set up instead of a single account housing each client entity, so once we took that consolidation step, everything fell into place & the workflow started to churn without incident. Few to no issues with receiving documents from outside the org, the OCR is fairly capable, and the platform learns quickly & suggests supplier rules to set for item types with regular throughput.

Dext Prepare Makes a Good App for Small Businesses

Fantastic product 

I wasn’t asking for anything more than what the average person would receive for their price. Why offer a terrible product that you don’t even advertise, that has almost the identical name to the next level product? I feel utterly duped.

Dext doesn’t tell the truth - won’t upgrade my lower level subscription. They expect me to pay twice

My overall experience with dext was horrible, customer service was nonexistent, there is no phone number to call a person and when I canceled my monthly subscription well before the 15-day cancelation period, I was still charged for the next month. I received no response from my customer manager who was on holiday and was told I had to meet with the manager before I could cancel. This made no sense to me. Canceling my monthly subscription was one of the most stressful, time-consuming things I have done regarding an app, I do not recommend this app.

We already liked Dext, then recently found out about a new integration feature where it links with and fetches data directly from Amazon, Uber etc. to save another stage of manual work. Excellent.

Gareth:                                                So my name's Gareth. I'm the founder of My Mortgage Gateway, which is a financial services company, arranging mortgage and protection contracts for clients. Using Dext Prepare has been amazing. It's a five out of five from me.
                                                       I looked at using Pleo, which was just not simplistic enough. It wasn't as user-friendly, and it was more difficult to onboard. So when my accountant recommended Dext Prepare, it was easy to use. So I decided it was a better option as it was more simplistic.
                                                       Just in order to streamline uploading receipts to Xero, because it's compatible with Xero, so that I don't have to keep a pocket full of receipts, where they can get lost or they're not reconciled, forgot what they were for. So on the go, I can use Dext Prepare to photograph them and upload them and reconcile them with Xero, which makes my accounting process a lot more streamlined.
                                                       It was really easy, to be honest with you. It was a question of just downloading the app and a few simple questions to register. My accountant also helped me with it as well, and it was just really easy. It's just a few steps.
                                                       I think it's good value for money for what you pay for it over the year. You can use it on the go. You won't forget and have a bucket load of receipts to reconcile at the end of every quarter or every year. You'll be on top of your cashflow. Being a small business, it's really good and handy for a small business, where we haven't got an office full of staff, back office staff that are helping to keep on top of all the invoices and paperwork, et cetera, and receipts. So it's definitely something that you can carry in your pocket with your mobile, and there and then reconcile receipts. So, it's really good.

                                                       Before Dext Prepare, I was using Wave Receipt, where you could upload the receipts, but you still had to input all the suppliers and the numbers and the taxes and all that, so it was very time consuming. Now I use Dext Prepare, where I can upload and forward my client's receipts and everything is done for you. I chose it because it was simple enough for small businesses and solo entrepreneurs, but it's also robust if you're using an accounting team and how it integrates with Zero or QuickBooks.
                                                       I also like how you could capture receipts multiple ways, so my client could use his phone to capture the receipt, or I would be in his inbox and forwarding the receipt to Dext. To get started with Dext was super easy. All we needed to do was integrate it with our accounting software, so that was Zero. Once that was connected, you could start forwarding your receipts there, and it would auto populate the taxes, the numbers, the suppliers, and even once it got used to what you were doing, it would update the categories as well.
                                                       If you're a small business or even a solopreneur, I think using Dext is super easy. It's a no brainer, especially if you're always on the go, you can use your mobile phone to upload receipts, and then also if you have help with you, they can log into your account and forward receipts for you, so it makes it very simple and you'll save a lot of time.
