We currently use Guusto to send employees vouchers for work tenure miletones and sales performance / hitting targets. When working in-person, we would buy things like champaign, but we are working from home right now and the feedback from the team so far has been that they actually prefer the choice this gives them better. I'm confident that we will use Guusto more often internally and even start using for clients. They also offer a recognition service with nomiations that we haven't tested out until there is wider adoption in the business, but from looking at the webinars and documentations, it looks decent. Give it a try! It's free to test out, the support is very responsive, plenty of documentation and webinars.
I did a lot a research into different companies and tested out a few - lots had prices locked behing webinar paywalls, unneccesary features (for our business), and large minium order requirements or contracts. What I like best about Guusto is the simplicity - it's so easy to use, has transparent pricing, and has lots of choices for gift recipients to chose from. The options include online gift cards, coffee shops, restautants, charity donations, and much more. Recipients can even save up to make bigger purchaes.
Hard for me to find an answer for this one!.. If there was any feature that I would like to see improves, would be payment options for ad-hoc purchases. There is a reasonable fee for credit card transactions, but the other options for bank transfers etc. require you to email over receipts and didn't seem very slick. If there were integrations to mainstream online payment processors or even an auto pay with bank details, I would be much more likely to have a bigger commitment.

Instant Employee Recognition is the business problem, and Guusto has been a great tool for helping HOMESTAR Financial Corporation meet that need. It is simple enough to use; both managers and employees seem happy with how we're using it (went 'live' July 3rd of this yr). The Customer Support from CSR and his Team is INCREDIBLE! I sent a question about an issue yesterday - within 24 hours, their Tech-Design team had created a whole new solution, including adding two new feature 'buttons.'
Low cost and ease of set-up was great for getting started. And any time I have an issue or a "how can I do so-and-so...?" whatever question, I get a response and usually a solution within 30 minutes. A few times they've had to do an overnight 'update' to put in a "fix" but the next day, things have worked better.
there's limited flexibility with naming conventions, and that's a small thing (and I'm told they're looking into that). Reporting is OK, since you can dump lots of data into Excel, but it would be cool if I could choose the specific data I needed and not get "everything" at once.

The Guusto team was quick to provide solutions to meet the needs and expectations of our recipients. Even though the original scope of our contest did not involve using Guusto (but the global pandemic made us reevaluate our rewards program on the go), their exceptional customer service allowed us to transition to Guusto without causing delay. They were quick to respond to emails and always available for phone calls and video chats to discuss strategy and next steps. I look forward to using them regularly in the future, as a cost effective option that aligns with our company's paperless (green friendly) initiatives.
The Guusto platform provided a solution to the social distancing and office closures faces by many businesses today. It enabled our company to run a nationwide sales contest and issue rewards to individuals across the country instantly - at a significantly lower cost by eliminating postage.
If I had to submit a request for future enhancements, it would be to make the recipient links have added security such as requiring them to enter their name. I realize passwords are challenging when dealing with large numbers or recipients - but if each recipient was required to enter their name or email to access their reward bank - it may make me feel more confident that only the intended recipient will ever see/access their bank. ...if this was not a required question - I would not have filled out this field.

The experience has been great. Their team has made it really simple to roll out. Customer support is quick to respond to any questions.
It allows our HR team to work on core functions because Guusto manages our employees recognition program which otherwise would be time consuming. Rewards are very flexibility that staff really like. It has allowed us to modernize, attract and retain staff.
Cant really identify any weaknesses. It has been great.

Easy to send quick rewards to your team for doing something special or for a milestone
Easy to use. Many vendors to choose from and thereby increases the value of the gift
Not prepopulated with the organizations people or their email or phone number.

It has been great, easy interface to use and I really like that you can expire the cards and gain the money back after a certain point if people don't take the cards.
We struggled with offers to new clients with gift cards and manually mailing cards. This totally made this a simple process for a very low handling fee (less than the postage costs would have been)
No real major complaints, we would like Netflix to be on their card list but that is more likely a Netflix issue than a Guusto issue.

Excellent - indispensable to a relationship-based business.
-Quick and easy to send gift cards from anywhere -Inexpensive -100% ROI - unused cards get returned rather than lost forever -No expensive, unreliable mail delivery -No writing cards by hand -Recipients can redeem for merchant of their choice.
The user interface is a B+, could be made slightly better with saved contacts, or a "speed dial" component. The ability to sync with Zapier or save templates would make it even better.

It was amazing as it lists out well the value for each merchandise that can be redeemed, which makes it easy to plan ahead and save time while shopping.
I had received a gift card from school. The integration with merchandise is excellent. It was amazing to redeem my coupons on the go. There were no glitches, everything went so smooth and I was thrilled. Plus there is so much variety to choose from while redeeming gift cards. The guide available online as well the online support makes it easy to navigate and use the software.
I am not sure if it has anything to do with the software, I was looking for some questions to be asked using online support on Saturday. It seems that service is not available on the weekends, which is no big deal. But as I was in the store and it was my first experience, I got a bit confused but soon figured out and had great shopping.

From the start of having our preliminary meetings with Guusto and our tons of emails back and forth, they have been extremely helpful and prompt every time. They offer a wide range of merchants that impresses all. All in all I must say we are extremely happy. And most of all there was no cost to start up and no annual fees. We are happy we chose Guusto and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
This software is very very simple to use. It offers quick videos on any area you need clarification on. Step by Step instructions and not to worry, if you find you made an error once you have submitted the order; you can quickly recall it back in seconds. Another great feature is the on-line chat.. myself and other staff members have used this many times and must say [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been prompt and quick responsive to any question that is asked.

A great solution for providing rewards to virtual event attendees for lunch gift certificates or for customers and employees for general appreciation.
I am involved in the development and organization of events, mainly MarCom or tech, specifically VoiceFirst/voice technology, and of course, now virtual for what seems to have already been an eternity!. Over a year ago, I was introduced to a service that markets their service to virtual events for that 'Lunch'n'Learn' experience but they had challenges in cross-border fulfilment. With the flair of 'grab your lunch' or selection and here are several confirmed options by using a gift card platform, Guusto has more acceptance possibility and value. As well, there are many more ways in which to employ the platform, such as general customer or employee rewards or gifting for personal occasions and reasons in general.
The web-based platform needs a little TLC and tweaking to match up with the ease of use and quality of the app.

Before we used to send out digital codes for an amazon gift card or a Starbucks card. It's very specific, but with Guusto, the options are enormous and endless. The ease of combining dollar value from multiple different gift cards into one single gift card is fantastic. This is the biggest USP for Guusto along with the numerous vendors.
Its seamless and a fun way to exchange gift card between colleagues. The wide range of vendors available to choose from makes it very appealing and does not constrain the user to just the company we buy the gift card for. This is as close to a cash gift or a pre-authorized visa credit card but better, cos you can send it remotely.
The website could be made a bit more intuitive and easy to use. Its graphics could be improved and made to look sleeker and rich. Buying and sending an Amazon gift card to a friend is probably the benchmark user experience Guusto should try to match towards, in my understanding that the clientele that Guusto is trying to capture.

Guusto is much better than how I used to award employees when a district manager about 7 years ago and had to visit stores to purchase gift cards and expense them. This is a much better, tidier system with better accountability and proper stewardship of company funds. As a frequent recipient of guusto awards/gifts, I'm able to find something I can readily use and enjoy from the many offerings, but it's not overloaded that making decisions is not overwhelming.
The product is easy to use, to select appropriate $ items associated with alloted price-point. It's quick, and there's a good selection of products, most of which I can use in an area within 50 miles or less
Keeping track of what was used and thinking I'd had not used an ecard, when I already had. The USED selector allows me to track that better with a few clicks and recorded history of my awards/gifts.

Guusto is the BEST!! We're a small team, and there were not many options out there that didn't want to charge us an arm and leg in service fees. We met their team years ago at a conference, and have used the platform ever since to provide employees with little extra bonuses when they're going the extra mile. It's been great getting more merchant options recently! Would highly recommend giving their service a try.

Ensure everyone receives a thank you gift card without having to hand deliver it, time is money, this service may cost money but it saves me time!
I love that the gift cards are managed digitally so I can ensure everyone receives there gift in fast fashion possible and no one can intercept it. SOOO many places to choose from, its basically as if someone gave you a preloaded credit card. Best Service, highly recommend

I ended up using Guusto after an application for a video editor position with a company called Shortform. What was unique about this application was that because of the amount of length involved with the process, that Shorform would be providing me with a $20 gift card. That gift card eventually came, which in turn lead me to Guusto to redeem the funds. It took only a short moment to figure out what to do, where afterwards I found my Amazon account having 20 more dollars in funds than before.
What I like the most about Guusto is the variety of gift card options. Meaning that if you get a gift card for Guusto, you will have the ability to choose to apply that gift card amount to a variety of businesses. Businesses such as Amazon and Best Buy, for example, though there are lots more.
Besides there always being more companies to add, of course. Though what I like the least about Guusto is if the gift card amount doesn't fit with a specific range for what a company has, then that gift card amount isn't applicable. This didn't apply to me, but I can see that if the amount is too low or too high, you will be locked out of the company of your choosing.

Overall, love the concept and utility of the app. This is something I'll continue to use.
Great alternative to traditional gift cards. The value is carried on an easy to use phone app that provides the card recipients with a variety of merchants from which to choose.
As a user, I'd like the option of searching vendors (perhaps by name and by type) and selecting locations on a filter basis (able to select multiple such as Burnaby, Richmond and Vancouver simultaneously). I'd suggest "online" as a separate "location". Would also be nice to have a place suggest additional vendors that users would like to see.

It's been a great way to receive gifts especially online nowadays. I got a gift for Christmas and it felt really nice to suddenly get a bonus gift card and be able to buy something small to treat myself now.
The ability to choose which vendor to get a gift card on, without any fees. Since even a prepaid credit card will have a small fee that makes it worth a bit less than what it costed.
The sign in with Google didn't work with me, so I had to create an entire new account. That was annoying but besides that it was super simple to get the gift card value imported into Amazon for me.

The ease of use and number of merchants available are great. The price is also very affordable.
There is a minimum $500 limit for loading your account unless you use a Credit Card which has a minor surcharge.

Guusto is the best value to express my appreciation with any amount I am affordable. Guusto solves the problem of having to worry about what gift to send. and the recipient is given the option to use the gift card in various merchants.
It's a free service to convert to a gift card. There are plenty of merchant shopping options, restaurants, Uber and coffee. Also, it's a user-friendly platform to receive a gift card easily and quickly.

I've used it twice to send a thank you to people recently. Someone returned a laptop I lost, easy way to say thanks... Here's a gift card... easy as pie.
Using Guusto is a user friendly way to send someone a gift or a thank you that they will actually use and get use out of. They get to decide how to spend their gift and when to use it. So much better than guessing what someone needs or wants.

It is a great way to show students or staff that you value their hard work, the site is easy to use and great customer service that is very prompt.
It can be difficult if you accidently choose the wrong gift card as someone who is on the recieving end as you cannot change it BUT that just means make sure it is what you want, service is still 10/10.
