honeybeeBase is a cloud-based solution for managing employee scheduling, attendance and absences, time tracking, file sharing, employee recognition, communication, and more. The software can be used by companies of various sizes, from small businesses up to multi-location franchises, and can be accessed from any web-enabled device.

With honeybeeBase, users can track employees’ hours, including paid and unpaid breaks, with automatic notifications delivered in real-time whenever an employee starts or finishes their shift, or goes on a break. Daily reports of all notifications can be emailed to users, and managers can also access weekly reviews of time cards to approve logged hours on a weekly basis. The attendance module records all late arrivals, early departures, and absences, and custom absence reports can be generated.

Through the vacation module, employees can view their available leave balances and request time off, with managers able to approve or reject requests through honeybeeBase. Custom names can be added for different time off banks to reflect existing naming conventions. honeybeeBase’s communication tools allow users to communicate with employees in bulk or one-on-one. The news module can be used to post information relevant to the entire company, while the internal messaging tools enable private communication with employees, and the commlog acts as a message board for employee posts. The activity stream automatically notifies users to new activity requiring their attention. honeybeeBase also allows users to share important documents and files, with customizable access permissions to control which users can upload, view, or edit documents.

Customer service is outstanding. Honeybeebase worked with us to create a function for paid time off based on custom dates versus date of hire.The ability to see real time employee Human Resource information, the ability to assign users to a specific supervisor, the ability to assign rights to users, user access to paid time off accruals and a web based time clock system. The software also provides a means to create quizzes and print certificates. The customer support team provides on-line training, answers questions promptly by email and helps populate users in the software.

The price, service, and actual product it great. Reports are neat and much easier to use than our last company we were using. This software is extremely user-friendly. We have employees from all age ranges and everyone uses it daily with ease. The customer service is also phenomenal. Extremely fast with their responses to any questions we have. They provide hands-on training, and so much more. Can't recommend enough.
