I also like getting the confirmation email after the payroll has been submitted as a peace of mind to know that it's been processed.

Sure, but that'll cost you upwards of $100. Additionally, the reports failed to indicate my corporate FICA contributions, so I almost missed taking that substantial deduction.

Our T4s were incorrect and our accountant said this was a problem with other clients they had that used Wagepoint.

You are able to integrate to QBO and "push" your payroll journal entries to your payroll clearing account. Super easy to reconcile.

I was initially attracted to (and eventually chose) this payroll provider for its simplistic cost structure: $22/payroll with all tax filings included.

Overall we've had a great experience with Wagepoint. The customer support is always able and willing to help and if you prefer a phone call, they are happy to oblige, which can be rare in today's terrible customer support environment. The price point is also perfect for a small business, such as ours. I like how they have your back in terms of notifications and ensuring your completing tasks on time. Super helpful for price wise for smaller companies and for those who may not have a seasoned or strong payroll background.

Wagepoint Is On Point!

Wagepoint is a wonderful option for a stand alone or service or an add on to your bookkeeping firm. It's nice because you can set it up and the clients would be able to run their own payroll because of the simplicity.

They normally reply well within the 24 hours that is stated, and not only answer my concerns or questions but help me to verify for myself.

Mistake made by Wagepoint in RL-1 Tax File at the same time as tax season started

A great tool for payroll!

I use wagepoint for payroll.. it is wonderful.  It pays everyone on time, each staff member gets their paystubs, annual statements etc.  Wagepoint also withholds taxes, CPP, EI and submits to CRA on our behalf.. thank you Wagepoint.
Recently, my company added a pension plan, the wagepoint software allows me to deduct the employees pension portion from their pay and manages all that as well... what more can you ask a software to accomplish?

I have been very pleased with the level of support I have received. In particular, Wagepoint did a great job solving an issue after the recent transition in November 2020 out of "QBO advanced payroll."

The AWESOME support team provides answers almost instantaneously for any questions or concerns.  This type of response and caring are beyond my wildest dreams.  Very seldom have I had to wait beyond 24 hours for a response, which may ask for further clarification of the question or it could be the needed answer and action requirements are spelled out for dealing with the problem at hand.

I very much enjoy Wagepoint - and if there's any struggles or questions, the support team is a quick email away. Their support team finds you the answer and actually helps you, which is why I didn't bother using QBO's built-in payroll... Their support team is nowhere near as helpful as Wagepoint's.

Wagepoint Rocks!

Wagepoint is our go-to payroll processor. It is super user-friendly, for both myself as the administrator and for our client's employees. We have 16 of our clients on Wagepoint, and that number is continuously growing as it's the processor that we recommend if our current/new clients are looking for a change, or haven't even started on payroll yet.

As a payroll company, we are required to put all prospective customers through rigorous screening before we can do business with them. While we're attempting to better our processes, there are times when legitimate companies get caught in the risk filters. This might be the case with your company. Great option for Payroll

I used WagePoint to do payroll for the staff, issuing ROEs and bi-weekly direct deposits into bank accounts for the staff. What I liked most about WagePoint was it was very simple. There was a whole team of people that you could contact for help. They would help you sort out whatever kind of issue that you had. There is also information inside the system. So you could look up what the stop holidays were. You could look up different payroll tax rulings and that kind of thing right inside their system. It also integrated well with the accounting software we were using. The only thing I didn't like about WagePoint was that I had to submit payroll a certain period of time ahead of time because of the direct deposit. So if I had made any errors, I would have to get back in there very quickly, or it would be too late.

                                                       In my last company, we used ADP Workforce. They were okay, but I found that there were a lot of different windows and going back and forth and I did not find the simplicity in ADP that I do with Wagepoint. Also, the bigger issue was cost-effectiveness.
                                                       The initial reason why I chose Wagepoint was the price. The price was fantastic. Felt it might be a little too good to be true. So instead of emailing, I gave them a call. It was at that time when I had a representative on the other end of the phone that I knew that Wagepoint was the right company for me. The customer relations were fantastic. They are down to earth and extremely helpful.
                                                       I found that the initial integration was seamless. Wagepoint took care of everything for me. If I did have any calls at all, they were answered immediately and taken care of. They also have an instant chat, which I find extremely helpful. And what I like the most are there are no additional charges each time I reach out for help.
                                                       I would highly recommend Wagepoint if you're looking for a software company for payroll. It is simple, easy to use, very fast to get payroll done each week, where you can move on with other things. We're very busy in our various industries and don't need to have our time absorbed with trying to understand programs. I give it a five out of five, extremely simple, extremely fast and easy to use.
