Works for some things but is clunky 

I've used Flex with 2 different companies and have managed the system for both of those companies.  The features and functionality can't be beat for the price.  It's extremely easy to start using the basic functions and also offers more extensive functionality for the companies that choose to implement them.  At it's core, Flex is a rental inventory management software, but it's workflow includes financial functionality too keeping your from bouncing between multiple softwares.  Quotes, Invoices, PO's, Pull Sheets, Manifests, Cross-rental PO's, Crew Lists, etc. are all linked together per job handing off information for less time doing data entry.  Scanning is simple and extremely easy to begin utilizing as a company.  Some of the other functions Flex offers includes maintenance logs, ROI reporting, contact management, QuickBooks integration, file management, sales forecasting, decommissioning, containers (items inside of items), barcode generation, and more.  

Can't beat these features at this price point!

Daily user, many areas need further development, cannot trust the results presented many times.

It is the best product that I know of for rental management.  The limitations of it are justified by the affordable price.

Great tool for rental houses.  Processes are easy to follow and learn.

Everything about flex rental solutions is absolutely awesome with the HUGE exception of how slow their system gets when you build a half way descent size price quote.

Very high value solution for rental and staging companies

For the price Flex is great.  We had nothing before so it feels like a big improvement

Daniel, thanks for the specific and detailed review. I will pass on your suggestions to the team. As far as Flash goes, have you seen our Flex5 updates? We're in the beta stage of our tablet release and have already been hearing some exciting feedback from our beta testers. 

Flex is a powerful tool, but not always the most intuitive.

It is a great piece of software for new companies, but cannot keep up with heavy use/needs.

Pros: Incredible platform for us. Whenever we think "This would be a nice feature", it takes us about 60 seconds to realize that it's already baked into Flex.  It really is the only solution for any production company that does over 150 events a year. There is no other platform that comes close to the same feature set, especially for the price.

Cons:  Flash? Really? It's 2015!  They need to get this converted to HTML 5 already.

Con: Slightly front loaded time investment to learn their workflow.

Purpose built A/V solution

Awesome, thanks so much Jordan for the kind words. We are working on HTML5 for our UI and are excited to transition away from Flash, too. 

Overall it's good.  We're still an infant using Flex.
