What is ResourceSpace?

ResourceSpace is an open-source digital asset management (DAM) software which allows users to organize, search, watermark, share, download, and manage brand assets. The solution is designed for organizations across a range of sectors, including product marketing, charities, museums, and academic institutions, and can be hosted on-premise or in the cloud.

ResourceSpace allows users to configure the interface to suit their needs, with customizable headers, displayed text, search results display, and more. Assets can be securely shared internally and externally, via email or unique URL. Expiration dates and permission levels can be added to resource links to ensure that only authorized external users are granted access. Assets can also be published across a range of social channels, including WordPress, YouTube, Flickr, Joomla, Drupal, and more.

ResourceSpace’s asset search lets users locate assets based on resource numbers, keywords, and descriptions, with geographic and advanced search options available. Version control tools enable the reversion of metadata input or uploads, which can be carried out in bulk for entire resource collections. ResourceSpace also offers file previews and conversions, watermarking, automatic transcoding, direct download, single sign-on (SSO) integrations, reporting and analytics, a RESTful API, and more.
