we switched to VOIP.ms from a way more expensive platform that charged for everything. we get the same features on this platform and save more than 50% off the other platform.

Pros
The platform has all the features of other platforms, at a way cheaper price

Cons
it's not for the faint of heart! you should be technically strong to figure out how to setup the features you need or want

I constantly refer friends and business associates to voip.ms. I am a fan.

Pros
Low cost with functionality associated with high priced enterprise systems

Cons
Not easy for the average user to configure a multi user system. Personally I love the challenge and was successful. I managed with the chat only service but some users may find it difficult to use chat only.

General experience has been great. Our telephone spend is less than 10% of what it was with traditional phone service providers.

Pros
If you know what you are doing this offers great value for money. An initial challenge is working out the per minute pricing model for voip services. However, it is invariably way cheaper than any other phone model.

Cons
Definitely this system is NOT for the technically 'faint of heart'. You need to get your hands dirty but once you do, no problem.

Cons

Good. Stable, good uptime & good features at a low price. We've used SIP trunks & PBX in a cloud & even asterisk vs pbxinaflash.

Pros
The low cost. The features like like ring groups, voicemail, etc. which some providers like vitelity don't offer at this price.

Cons
It's a little hard to use & understand - but so is VoIP in general. The best improvement would be for voip.ms to update their wiki with very specific phone, handset, cordless handset, ATAs ... brand new & inexpensive models - so we could follow setup & be certain of settings.

Love the service but some how not as reliable as dedicated line

It is Okey if you don't need instant to respond it is just as a cheaper alternative of phone calls. I probably will get another cellular line in the future and forward voip.ms to the phone fo better connectivity and use just voipms when I travel aboard.

Pros
I was able to go aboard and receiving and making phone calls. that was pretty good. The low monthly fee and Okey voice connection calls. Love the low fee and pay as you go service.

Cons
It was very difficult to select the right client for my Android Phone. I had tried BRIA and others endup using acrobits with one time push notification payment . And a separate app for SMS. NO DIY guide or reviews of the calling clients really setback ppl especially the setup process will probably drive people away. The overall website interface is very engineering like very technical and hard to navigate. I guess it is just too many functionalities that requires UI or UX designer to polish up.

I would never consider using another provider. The VoIP space has a lot of companies that mark up the near-zero cost of PSTN connectivity, charging outrageous per-user fees, billing for services you don't care about or use. VoIP.ms has built an incredible automated platform that is designed to reduce costs without sacrificing availability, and then passes those savings on to their customers. I've worked with companies that reduced their expense on phone service by a factor of 20 by switching to VoIP.ms. No one ever leaves this service.

Pros
Flat rates for DIDs. Per-minute pricing with per-second billing. Self-service. Lowest prices. Great documentation. Rock-solid uptime. Cost only goes down.

Cons
Some features can be difficult to use. Options are open-ended, and the best configuration for you is likely to be a matter of opinion. Support is typically email-only.

In being a customer for 3 - 4 years, they have always been very helpful and continue to impress me with new features, services, and integrations.

Pros
VOIP.ms is one of the best VOIP providers I have used. In addition to being very cost effective, they provide scores of PBX features at no extra cost. Best of all, they are always adding new features and continue to raise the bar for a value priced service.

Cons
In years past, there were some minor reliability issues, but they are truly striving for perfection and have attained a nearly flawless level of service in terms of call completion.

Allows me to run a virtual office and look like a large established company. I can have people all over the world running my "office" and route calls wherever I need. VOIP.MS is an ESSENTIAL part of my business. I would NOT want to be without them. Period.

Pros
1) Tons of features - some I'd never even heard of before 2) Ease of Use - A little bit of a learning curve, but after that off to the races 3) Great Support - Fast and Efficient. Have helped me a number of times 4) Always adding new features & send updates on outages and issues etc 5) Seriously low price - I have looked and looked... and no one is cheaper (why do I even bother looking?!) 6) Best of all? It just WORKS.

Cons
Learning curve was a tad steep at first. But really hard to knock points for this... It is what it is really.

Service quality is good. However pricing and packages need work.

Pros
Easy to setup and implement. Majority of VoIP equipment is supported. Uptime is good with minimal issues. Support is well versed.

Cons
They bill in USD? Not at all acceptable, since this is a Canadian company. Optional currency billing should absolutely be an option. Business pricing fees can easily add up overtime. They don’t have flat rate plans for business which can end up actually costing more than big 3 providers.

Having access to the reseller panel is nice, however it's very confusing to setup and the help files need a lot of work.

Pros
Their rates are pretty cheap compared to competitors and their staff really seem to care about the product.

Cons
It does not work with our PBX which has been an outstanding issue for over a year. We were told by our dedicated account manager this would be fixed as quickly as possible, it never has and we've never received any explanation as to why. Our system (3CX) works with the other 14 providers we trunk with, but I have to use workarounds to get VoIP.ms to work despite them supposedly being 3CX Certified.

Tech support is quick to respond, overall very satisfied with support. Number porting goes quickly and with out issue typically. I would love to see an app for this service, haven't tried 3rd party VoIP phone apps with it yet but I think it has great potential as an enterprise system with the ability to compete with Nextiva, RingCentral, etc. if it just had a pre-packaged app to offer.

Pros
Extremely low cost, only about 5% of the cost of many competitors. Reliable enough for Fire/Alarm systems and daily use for the entire company! Configurations have a bit of a learning curve, but much of the documentation has been updated recently which helps. Offers many features only found on much more expensive systems such as SMS, Call Recording, etc. but many are in beta. Ring Groups, e911, voicemail to email are all working great and well established. Low cost reliable phone system for your business!

Cons
Occasionally issues with Polycom VVX series going offline, or needing to switch servers. May be related to a configuration issue/template, as I don't have this issue with any other hardware. Grandstream devices seems to be the most reliable, the best just FYI for whomever reads this.

Overall I am happy with all this features and the quality. But I would appreciate more transparency and a Canadian price. Maybe some plan with all of someone's features. Great to have the ability to chose option individually, but will be grate if we can chose all in one plan too.

Pros
Better quality and features than others. Lot of options and customizations.

Cons
For all canadian customers they only charge in USD, so you never get the same price for your product. Every single options/transaction/change, cost more and finally get more expensive than a lot of competitors.
