“Diagramming features in Diagrams.Net are intuitive and easy. The speed you can put together a simple diagram and connect shapes takes seconds. Connections between shapes doesn't require selecting a connector, simply drag from one edge to another. Dragging and moving shapes does tend to confuse the system and unlike Visio, lines won't necessarily try to intelligently redraw themselves. Trying to manually fix the lines can be an issue.”

    Value for money rating:

Of 142 reviews that provide robust commentary on draw.io's price and value, 93% mention it in a positive light.

Most reviewers indicate that draw.io offers excellent value for money, primarily because it provides a comprehensive range of tools and features for free. Users appreciate that the free version includes functionalities comparable to paid alternatives, making it a cost-effective solution for creating diagrams, flowcharts, and mind maps. They find the integration with Google Drive, OneDrive, and other platforms particularly beneficial. Many users highlight that the free version is sufficient for most of their needs, and they only need to pay for more advanced, enterprise-level features if required.

“Draw.io is a free program that offers a range of tools, which not all of its paid contributors have, besides the ease and intuitiveness it provides.”

The Diagrams.Net integration with Google Drive is important for several reasons:Accessibility: The integration allows me to access my diagrams anywhere with an internet connection as Google Drive is accessible on mobile and desktop devices. This is especially important when working in teams that are remote or in different geographic locations.Easy sharing: The integration helps me share diagrams with other team members in just a few clicks. This is especially useful when we need to collaborate in real time on complex projects.Secure Storage: Google Drive is known for its data security and privacy, ensuring my diagrams are safe and secure from unauthorized access.

You can save your progress in google drive since it has a collaboration with this service.

We normally save finished products in Google Drive (if not export it as a photo).

It's very useful since you can save the diagram and come back to edit it later.
