What is WebDrive?
WebDrive is a cloud-based file management solution that helps businesses access, store, and edit documents and folders within a centralized platform. With the endpoint protection functionality, administrators can whitelist applications that are allowed to modify files, whilst protecting the server from ransomware and other security threats.
WebDrive enables users to utilize S/KEY, MD4, and MD5 password encryption systems to facilitate secure file transfers and access. Administrators can configure event logging settings to maintain several levels of logs for basic informational messages, I/O information, protocol data transfer, and more. It lets users setup caches for file and directory listings, providing overall control over disk space and quick data access. Plus, users can automatically backup files to a server and erase local copies from the computer, in order to increase overall disk space.
WebDrive allows businesses to connect with multiple third-party applications such as DropBox, Google Drive, SharePoint, ExaVault, Hosted FTP, OpenDrive, GoodSync, and more. Users can also utilize file synchronization tools to quickly access files as well as work in offline mode.
