The platform delivers practice management functions via a browser based interface accessible from any device with an internet connection. SILQ supports matter management, contact records, document creation, time tracking, invoicing and trust accounting within a unified environment. The system is hosted on Australian servers to uphold data sovereignty and is maintained as part of the AWS partner network with ongoing security testing.
The software includes pre configured matter classes and numerous data capture fields to minimize initial setup time and enable matter creation and document generation within minutes. Integrated time tracking features include a timer function and automatic logging of work performed. Task management, calendar scheduling and file note capabilities complement a comprehensive contact database for full case oversight. Custom email templates draw information directly from matter records to ensure consistency in correspondence.
Native integration with Outlook allows emails and attachments to be filed directly to matters in bulk and to generate time entries automatically. Mobile applications for iOS and Android devices provide full access to matter details, tasks, contacts, documents, time entries, calendar events and invoices with support for dictation based note taking. Trust accounting functions have been certified by the Law Society of New South Wales for compliance with the Legal Profession Uniform General Rules two thousand fifteen and support management of deposits, transfers, disbursements and ledger reconciliation. Document storage is managed through configurable connections to third party platforms such as SharePoint and Dropbox to maintain control over intellectual property.

A dedicated onboarding manager assists with data migration from existing systems and delivers guided training for practice wide adoption. Application programming interfaces are available for integration with essential business applications and implementation guidance is provided during setup.
