The dashboard and main screen seems to be a little difficult to utilize when it comes to the need to edit thinkgs.

When I first started looking into this type of display signage it was quite confusing. Some of the companies you needed to subscribe to the parameters. This was at a much higher cost of the product which made it less cost-effective. If you have multiple locations it created much more cost to run from a central location. I somehow found a site that listed many many companies of this type with explanations as to what they do and how they function. This enabled me to reduce the number to look at to about five. I then open all the websites for the various companies and tried them. I was also looking for a company with a reasonable amount of support at a very reasonable price. I am pretty much a novice at this stuff some of the more complicated than I wanted some offered support that seemed difficult to use or get a hold of them. So then I narrowed it down to the final two and called the companies to speak to their people and customer support. When I contacted smartsign2go I was lucky I thought and got the owner Derry. We spoke for quite a while even had me dial in and created a webinar and showed me how to use it. My daughter is involved in this business we have three locations and he did the same my daughter who does most of the work on the signs. We are able to remotely control all the locations from whichever location we happen to be at and can also run different signage at different locations. This means one store has a product the others don't we can feature that on the individual signs. We use the signs behind the register so while the customer checking out they can watch it. I'm sure we will expand on the use of these signs.
I can't say enough about the representative he is very responsive and helpful in arriving at a financial solution to benefit small mom and pop operations. The upfront cost per location is very reasonable you can size the TV to fit your space. I bought three relatively inexpensive flat screen TVs 32 inches that is my only regret is that I didn't go like 48 to 50 inches. No matter what anybody decides they can make a work within your price range if you are a reasonable. You will not be disappointed!!!

Great for Company News Feeds

Thanks, Lorraine! You actually can upload multiple photos at once. On a PC you'd just want to hold down the CTRL key while you select them all. Thanks for your review! Yes....we agree about phones or tablets. In a way it's too bad that styluses aren't used anymore. It's just so much easier to be precise with design work when using a mouse compared with a finger. For other basic adjustments such as scheduling or changing text, a phone or tablet works fine.

We have been using these across our portfolio and are very pleased! The functionality is vast and it is always increasing with new updates! You can view, in real-time, what is being played which is AMAZING if you are remote or have multiple players. There were some kinks, in the beginning, to work out - such as format size, etc. but once those were figured out, we have not had any issues! We had such a great experience, that we started out with the smaller version and upgraded it. Also, any email to support is answered extremely quickly!

Have been using Smartsign for few years now in our  restaurant to communicate messages, updates and reminders to team in the back of the house. Very effective.

We frequently have customers shopping and drawn in by this visual tool.  The ability to showcase our product for passersby is a bonus as well.  SmartSign2go is very user friendly and customer service is prompt with response to any issues.

Fabulous marketing tool

Overall, as a gym owner, it provides the opportunity for people in the middle of their workouts to find meaningful information and draw attention to things they would otherwise not pay attention to.  With a large enough TV, it's almost more useful than social media to "get the word out". Any time CS is needed, I have access and quick responses to a team member. The only draw back is EST vs PST but even at that, they are prompt and thoughtful....even when the issues are because of the end user (me :-) )

Good communication is key for me, and SmartSign2Go solved that problem easily and economically.  It was extremely easy to get up and running, and once I learned the system, I have hardly had any issues.  When an issue does arise, I call and have a very quick response.

SmartSign2go has revolutionized our display panel communication when you walk into our school. What was once an outdated, eye sore that was clunky to use is now updated via the web, by multiple users, with easy to use templates If you are looking to improve the effectiveness of communication you should start with SmartSign2go.

Overall I am very happy with the solution.  We use this is a large venue we own and have had very little to no issues with it.  Support is eager to help and always available.

Using SmartSign2go

Thanks, Lyn! Yes, it does sound like the issue of some kind of delay would be caused by your computer's performance, especially if your playlist is quite large. This is not a comment I've heard before, but I do know that for big playlists it can take a couple seconds to open and load the preview icons.

Thanks for your review, Dean! The update frequency should be approximately 60 seconds. However, if the player(s) are busy playing a piece of media then the system will typically let it finish before updating. 

Also, there actually is folder functionality for Pages. Same concept as for media (images and videos). You just click on the "my pages" master folder and create a new folder. Then you tick the box at the far right to open up a "drag-to" folder if you want to move pages between folders. Thanks again.

Thanks for your review, Robert! Are you finding that it takes longer than the 60 seconds for updates to appear on-screen? If so we can look into that for you. 

As for the comment about limited amount of text characters, there is no limitation to that short of what you can cram into a full screen which is a huge amount, especially at small font. 

Also keep in mind that you can expand the area where the text is actually typed in by dragging the corner down to reveal more!

Thank you, Hannah! Yes, currently true mirroring is not yet supported. It is very challenging getting web-driven devices to sync down to the millisecond. For those that don't need that tight of coordination it's currently possible to run the same material concurrently on different screens.

Great Product and Support

We may have discussed this with you but we do support Powerpoint integration directly via Office 365 using our Web Page app. For traditional Powerpoint, currently the slide(s) would first need to be converted either to a video or individual images and added to one or more pages that way.

SmartSigns2go offers an excellent value system. The support is top notch and the functionality is great for my multi-location needs. We have been using the system for a few years and it is very reliable. 

Great Internal Communications Platform

Laura! We really appreciate your review, thanks a lot. We don't yet have a mobile app, but you can login using the browser on a smartphone or tablet.

Our schools love to check out the TVs for the upcoming events and to see if their picture is on it.  We get lots of comments from our community on the SmartSign2go TVs.

SmartSign2go is the way to go!

Simple is better

Thanks for the review, Keith! Your player should automatically update. If that's not happening then the most likely cause is the local network. If you have a content filter setup on the network then one or more of our web addresses may be blocked and would simply need to be whitelisted. That's an easy process typically, which we can help to guide you on. Let us know if you'd like to pursue that!

                                                       Prior to SmartSign2go, we didn't have any system. In fact, I kind of volunteered the role of finding one and putting it into place. It was our first system to go with, and it was kind of a rushed choice. We went with SmartSign2go initially because it was the most prominent as far as ads online when we were trying to look for a service in the beginning.
                                                       As someone who's, I guess, mediocre in technology, it was still kind of difficult to set everything up myself. We found the customer service was decent, but the actual navigating of it was slightly difficult. The recommendations that I would give for anybody looking into SmartSign2go, definitely read the small print, know what you're purchasing and that, I guess, would be about it. Just look into the fine print and actually know what you're getting into before you make a purchase.
