Walkabout allows users to create and dispatch jobs, with a drag-and-drop scheduler for call scheduling, instant view of all call locations on the service area map, and third-party address validation to check the precision and accuracy of provided addresses. Customer service histories can be accessed from any customer reference, providing complete information for decision-making. Warranty claims are generated automatically when a call is closed, and can be uploaded via FTP (file transfer protocol) to Service Power and Service Bench, managed, and tracked.
Walkabout’s inventory management and analytics tools assist users in setting stock levels based on actual usage, and in phasing out any dead stock. Users can manage part pricing and track the movement of parts, as well as creating and receiving purchase orders, and processing returns. Accounts receivable can also be managed, with emailing, billing, payment applications, and invoice printing in the field, and customizable late fees and finance charges giving users full control over customer billing.
