Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Backlog overview
What is Backlog?
Backlog is an all-in-one project management tool for developers and their teams with capabilities such as issue tracking, version control and wiki on a single platform. Core features include projects, burndown charts, Gantt charts, issues, watchlists, subtasking, comment threads, file sharing and bug tracking. The platform is intuitive for non-developers and can be accessed while on the go via mobile app for Android and iOS.
Backlog helps users prioritize and manage tasks within projects through collaboration across teams and to-do lists, while tracking overall progress. Users can communicate project updates, discuss plans, and submit work requests to teams, and securely share files, from legal documents to web design work. Backlog helps keep users up to date on overall project status and provides cumulative summaries and individual milestone tracking.
Backlog automatically generates and updates Gantt charts in real time to help with project planning, allowing users to slice and dice charts by assignee, milestone or category, and export to Excel. Version control features provide web-based, Git and Subversion repositories for engineering and design teams with no installation required. Built-in features include custom fields, user permissions, email integration, and wiki for creating meeting notes, project plans, and product requirements.
Backlog enables project management while on the go with its mobile app for iOS and Android that allows users to keep track of issue changes and comments, and get mobile alerts and notifications anywhere.

“I can manage issues by passing the success or failure of builds executed in Jenkins to the backlog. It also allows me to see process when specific issues can be built. This is an efficient service in terms of CI/CD.”
