I love using Iris. I shopped around at Imaging USA and tried a few different ones out, but Iris won.

Way more streamlined studio management! Invoicing capability, scheduling, client forms, contracts, etc.

Pros

I love that I can have client leads automatically entered into my client data base.

Cons

I wish that I could do partial payment options on invoices; that way I don't have to do a new invoice for payment plans, and could just send out a reminder email or something.

Fairly easy to setup, however functionality is missing that will truly impact my business.

Pros

Invoicing and integration with QB.

Cons

-Lack of lead tracking and reporting -Lack of overall business management reporting -This is still more wedding photography friendly than helpful in managing a general studio -Inability to create a new lead within an existing client (new lead is not a new client; new leads can come from existing clients - repeat business!)

It's a very simple but powerful user interface and the tasks it can perform are easy to understand and edit for on personal preference.

Cons

There are a few fields of client management that this software doesn't cover just yet, although they are constantly adding new features.

It got me started in organizing my business and made me realize I needed something more robust.

Pros

For me this was a gateway software into realizing I needed a client management system.

Cons

Why would I continue to spend hundreds of dollars on a product that hasn't been updated (and is basically just a pretty Access Database) in the year I've used it.

I’m a small business and it’s an easy way to keep track of client records.

All your clients info in one place, you have the notes, the contact data, the info for your job and also it protect you to not double book the same date.

I think any studio management software can be a little intimidating at first, but after a little bit, it's pretty amazing

Awesome Management Program

This program helps me with time management and organization.

Pros

There are a couple of features I would add, but they take user requests into consideration and are constantly working to improve and incorporate our requests into it. The customer service is both quick and helpful.

Cons

My only complaint at the moment is that you can't do a payment plan setup with invoices, but I think that is something they said they are working on.

Organization at long last!

I love having my contracts, client information, custom questionnaires, email templates, and invoices at my fingertips in one user friendly interface! Also, Meredith has been so very responsive to questions, feedback, and comments!

Pros

User friendly, amazing customer support, and beautiful design to add a professional feel to all client correspondence and contracts.

Cons

Not yet integrated with Square for payment processing, but I think they're working in it.

I also like the invoice options.

Cons

More options for session types I'm a sports photographer would be great for some options for that since I do a lot of those, a work flow for that as well would be fantastic as well as possibly a thank you for booking to send to the groups. Possible thinking to a store front like zenfolio or millers would be awesome to send to clients right through the page

It has made contacting clients so much easier with the automated workflow systems and I get contracts back from my clients so much faster than emailing them a .pdf!

Pros

I like that all of the automatic emails and workflows are customizable.

Cons

I like that I can access my online account on my phone, but it can be cumbersome to use and I think if there was an app specifically designed for using on your mobile phone it would make using the system on my mobile phone so much easier.
