Turn key solution solves our needs.

Reviewed 2 years ago

They are so knowledgeable and told them our pain points and what we needed and they hit it out of the park.

Pros

The team at NMSaas made it a turn key set up. They did all the work for us and handed us the keys, and we were good to go. They are great to work with.

Cons

We did not have cons. The team at NMSaas did all the work for us and we have exactly what we asked for in the time frame we needed.

NMSass, a great monitoring tool

Reviewed 2 years ago

I need to find more time to devote to configuring this tool, but the support team is super helpful, and what we have so far works great.

Pros

This is a dense, highly configurable monitoring tool.

Cons

This is a dense, highly configurable monitoring too (a double-edged sword).

Versatile, Comprehensive Network Monitoring System, Scalable from SMB to Large Enterprise to ISP

Reviewed 2 years ago

Experience with NMSaaS has been a positive one. The StableNet Software used by the Service has been reliable, comprehensive, multi-vendor capable, and easy to use once configured properly. Detailed attention is given to our needs and response has been very timely. It's been a pleasure to work with their Support Staff.

Pros

Comprehensive feature set and capabilities. Basic setup fairly easy to get up and running quickly. Building on basics and using more advanced and granular features are easily integrated. Hardware right sizing and efficient Cloud processing has ensured rapid response times. Their Services provide the Software maintenance, Cloud database & space maintenance required. This frees our IT Staff to focus on Monitoring the Network and providing diagnostic assistance to other Network Support Teams. NMSaaS Support has always been very responsive, timely, and effective.

Cons

Limited training options. Lack online and written "training" materials. There are Manuals, but they are more Technical and Reference oriented. Excellent support helps mitigate this lack.

Managing our global network with multi vendor support was a challenge and NMSaaS provided a Cloud based solution that addressed our network manangment and application performance management needs.

Pros

the completeness of the solution and the ability to customize to suit our needs

Cons

NM SaaS is a little complicated intially due to the range of features and devices it monitors however the Support team works hard to ensure that the installation goes smoothly.

Very versatile product.

Pros

The fine grained control over almost every aspect from measurement and monitor parameters to the tagging and filtering of views and reports.

There is a bit of a learning curve to understand the methodology of the product, but once understood extremely powerful.

Very strong product and very quick to deploy

Reviewed 2 years ago

The fact that an enterprise NMS can run at scale in the cloud is impressive

Cons

The product feature set is so vast that it is hard to know which features to deploy.

with NMSaas I can customize my discovery.

Reviewed 2 years ago

The tool is very complex. It will do most anything you want it to and the NMSaas team helped behind the scenes configuring all the complex requirements. The training I received was awesome and not the regular textbook training it was hands on and not follow the numbers answers in the back, I had to think.

Pros

Once I learned the XML schema I am able to customize all the settings on my discovery of my devices and automate discovery of new devices. I also could choose to leave the default settings.

Cons

I would like to see more wizards in the tool. I did like the support I got with NMSaas and they were able to get me over the issues I had setting it up.
