Churchteams FAQs
Q. What is Churchteams used for?
Churchteams is a church management software designed to assist with the organization of multiple small groups and ministries within a church. Users can add, edit and merge member information to form families, create groups based on demographics, interests and more, track attendance, create custom reports, communicate with members by email and text message, store notes on interactions to keep staff informed, manage volunteer scheduling, securely check children in, and more. Churchteams enables users to identify, develop and track potential group leaders from within the church community based on their skills and passion. Group leaders are automatically reminded to communicate with staff and their group on meeting days, with a follow-up system to ensure communication and reports are completed. Churchteams produces a monthly group health report, revealing 18-month ministry trends into which users can drill down to view what is happening in any group. Integrated online giving allows users to accept donations, specify accepted payment types, automatically collect recurring donations, and create individual contribution records. Users can also import contributions from other online giving systems, analyse giving trends, and track individual and family pledge progress, with the option to email this information to members with their contribution statements, allowing them to see how they are progressing towards their yearly goals. Churchteams can also exclude or include online giving in its weekly contribution summaries, allowing users to see what percentage of donations come from each contribution method. Churchteams’ online giving portal can also be integrated into event registration, enabling church members to pay for registration at the same time as they confirm their attendance. Users control what information is captured from all members registering for events online, without members needing to login, and this is presented to users as a single dashboard. Where possible, information is collated, such as the number of T-shirts required in each size. Users can also register any offline registrations and payments in the system, to keep all event information in one place.
