Akiflow set me up for Success

Reviewed 4 months ago

Akiflow is an amazing solution that cuts across task management, calendar management and project management. It has robust integrations making it versatile and easy to use.

Pros

- The ease of scheduling tasks and getting notifications when my meetings and activities are about to start. - The ritual feature especially Shutdown helps me review my day and what I was able to achieve. - Seamless integration with Gmail, Trello and Todoist helps me avoid context switching. - The discounted pricing makes it affordable especially for personal use.

Cons

- It can be considered pricey for an organization to implement across the board compared to alternatives. - Sometimes the Mobile app doesn't load for certain devices requiring the use of the Web App which is less intuitive.

Akiflow - the almost perfect task management software

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

I become blazing fast with akiflow's shortcuts so that I can focus on doing rather than organizing. Its the best task management app on the market Calendar is just excellent. It's Akiflow's main value together with blazing fast shortcuts! Akiflow's popups are very helpful and discrete (not annoying) Exports and imports are easy. It's great we can import tasks from all over other applications (though I wished it would not be behind the paywall) Daily objectives are great in Akiflow.

Cons

Tasks and daily objectives progress tracking are sweat. I miss project progress tracking. Document management and project management are akiflow's greatest opportunities of improvment. Tasks are small. Projects are not made off just a bunch of tasks, but of whiteboards for freethinking, files attatchement and long writing sessions of brainstorming.

Simply the best all rounder out there!

Reviewed 4 months ago
Pros

Nearly to many Pro's to mention. The overall look and feel is superb, and the colour palette is gorgeous. The UI & UX are fantastic, with plenty of options to make the look and feel your own. The new AI auto tagging is so helpful and intuitive, not sure how I managed beforehand.

Cons

It needs more API integrations, but I believe they are working on that. The price could be a little lower in comparison to a few other options out there, although Akiflow is still a superior product.

The task manager that everybody waited for

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

The UI/UX is extremely clean, there are regular updates, the development team is communicative and this software definitely changed the way I work, enabling my to become more productive as well as to better plan my day. This could really become a huge game changer in the productive apps industry.

Cons

In general, both reminders and progress tracking could see improvement. It would be great to be able to plan recurrent reminders, as well as to receive e-mails notifying when a reminder is approaching, as ClickUp does. A better way to deal with long-term tasks would be very much convenient as well. The pricing is a bit too high in my opinion but I can see why it's at this price.

The Ultimate Time Management tools

Reviewed 2 years ago

Very positive. I think they are the best bang for the buck at the moment. Susama is better at surfacing tasks and weekly planning, but there is no command bar to easily enter one-off tasks. Motion manages and plans tasks automatically much better, but comes in at twice the cost and is also only in browser.

Pros

Two things I love the most: 1) The command bar - A quick shortcut will instantly pop-up a dialogue to enter a task. Perfect for capturing small tasks coming out of meetings. By far the best tool I've used that made task entry so easy! 2) The google calendar sync - I love being able to block of times dedicated to certain tasks. It allows me to prioritize my day and protect myself from 'meeting' bloat.

Cons

You can bring in tools like asana, clickup, notion and then bring those tasks into your calendar. If you have large project plans, I found that sorting through these tasks can be burdensome. Yes, there are ways to filter, but still would need some refinement.

Favourite Productivity Tool

Reviewed 3 months ago

So far really nice. It really helped me keep track of to-dos that otherwise would have been lost.

Pros

- Ability to easily create tasks and assign them to projects - Mac shortcut to create a task on the fly

Cons

- Lacks calendar automation features (e.g. projects being bound to different calendars, e.g. personal tasks book time in personal calendar) - Task organisation is not the best - sometimes I struggle finding tasks I created, and it's quite easy to forget them if you don't schedule them right away - Pricing seems a bit high - Akiflow is definitely not cheap!

Akiflow improved my task management while reducing overwhelm and time wastage.

Reviewed a year ago

Sometimes, I got overwhelmed with what to focus on personally to move the needle forward in my business. Akiflow solved that for me. The time blocking made me more effective in doing the actual task at hand.

Pros

I've been doing Notion consulting for start-ups for over 4 years, but I felt very limited in my task management and time-blocking possibilities. Implementing Akiflow as my personal task management tool it really improved my personal productivity levels. It gave me more mental clarity on what to focus on. Notion now helps me to plan projects and measure progress for the team, while Akiflow supports me in personal productivity and getting things done on a task level.

Cons

I recommend Akiflow to all my clients to use it for their entire team, the pricing point is sometimes a breaking point for their entire team, but are using it for themselves.

Wonderful product and dev team!

Reviewed 2 years ago

I use Akiflow for task management, reminders, and calendar management! It undoubtedly speeds up my work flow and gives me mental clarity.

Pros

So easy to use and begin integrating! The capture features are so intuitive for me. The dev team is extremely kind and responsive.

Cons

My only complaint about the product is the price. I'm utilizing Akiflow alongside other personal data/knowledge management tools. I think the price is a bit high for a tool that doesn't meet all of my needs, but it does what it does so well that I'm willing to pay it, and am lucky enough to be able to. I'm hoping that pricing tiers will become available as Akiflow takes on more users.

Best task amanagement nd time-blocking app out there

Reviewed 3 years ago

I try every new productivity tool I can get my hands on. Most involve lots of tradeoffs and force me to evaluate the switching cost. Akiflow integrates with all of my existing tools (no switching cost) and the app is really well thought out. It's boosted my productivity meaningfully.

Pros

Brings in tasks from many tools and helps you manage them against your calendar. The UI is very slick and they really emphasize keyboard shortcuts and fast workflows.

Cons

Doesn't have a mobile app (but coming soon I hear)

The Best Task Manager for Busy Professionals (if you can afford it)

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

Akiflow allows you to realistically prioritize and slot in tasks throughout your week. It's integrations into other products allow you to have a centralized inbox for everything going on in your life and to focus on the things that matter.

Cons

I wish the pricing enabled more users to benefit from Akiflow. The current pricing limits who can take advantage of this innovative approach to managing your life.

Akiflow is great! Though room for improvement.

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

The time-blocking is the best out there. Ability to drag and adjust things on calendar to mark your focus for the day. Top notch. The reminders are also very effective.

Cons

The natural language inputs were sometimes buggy. And the biggest other downsides are no mobile app and it's pricey. (Though cheap compared to similar apps like Sunsama and Motion.)
