I've used Word since Office 2010 was released and have installed it on almost every Business PC iI have worked on. It has become the standard in most businesses and they cater to end-users too meaning households can get access to the product at cheaper rates. After getting used to how it works, everything becomes easier to use and before you know it you will be making quality documents quickly and accurately as there is a built-in spell checker to help you.
I love that I can create any type of document that I need for any specific purpose. There are templates that make the process even easier. I can add pictures and modify text to suite all my needs. Saving documents in different formats like PDF is as simple as clicking Save As and selecting the File type from the drop down list. Word makes it easy and saves me alot of time which I can use on other business aspects.
I didn't find it user-friendly to beginners but after a week I found that I could use the program flawlessly. Other than that I am reallt happy.

I like the references and mailing options. Tremendous use for Academia, saved so many hours when I was a student.
Price. It is a little too expensive. Also, the fact that if you don't have a license you can't edit it at all. I think they should allow a minimum of characters to edit a document with the free trial.

For 2 decades MS Word was only choice. With new century and alternatives like OpenOffice or Google Docs buying MS Word for most of users is a mistake. If you are advanced user, need a version control (see how GitHub works btw) document workflow or doc management - maybe it will be a good app for you.
+ first mover advantage: they created a market, so everything that other alternatives implemented is some kind of copy/inspiration of "good old Word" + well known interface + no compatibility issues even between older .doc versions + great functions that can connect other apps from MS Office (like connecting to Excel to print envelopes with mail merge functions) + great online library of doc templates + commenting and editor functions + vocabularies
- price, especially that for most of functions you may use a free alternatives like Google Docs, OpenOffice, LibreOffice etc. - current layout is very hard to use comparing to MS Word 97 - who need a WordArt in the world of Canva? - consumes a lot of resources, especially if document contains some pasted images (it should have something like lazy load in websites)

The experience with this software is ok, however give a chance to free alternatives that can allow access from anybody.
The most advantageous use of MS Word is its reliableness when working offline. This software will deliver a great environment of useful tools for generating or editing text. Currently, this software is working really well on Mac OS computers and it seems that the day of crashes is far behind. I like to use the track the changes features especially now that can be made by multiple online users, as well as the interesting interaction it provides when working on a project together.
First of all, I am noticing people, especially the youngsters, are not using MS WOrd anymore. This fact can make you pass the frustration of sending a file to someone that cannot read it. People are preferring to use online text softwares, which is free. So it makes me to think if the price I pay for MS is worth it.

I've used (and taught people to use) word processing programs for more than 30 years (anyone remember Word 6?), and produced everything from web pages to book-length documents using it. Over the years it has become a reliable and multi-featured product, but the "look and feel" are stable.
While there are still good and popular options out there (Sheets and Google Docs), for education purposes Word is the standard: it's compatible with LMS systems, stable, has lots of features, and is convertable between applications and formats.
Maybe a few too many features? I'm not a fan of its aggressive automation either, although I do still appreciate spell check. The real concern is cost, which is helping shift education systems to Google options.

Word has allowed me to make important files during my academic studies, it is very easy to use, it has a series of tools that improve the presentation of the document, it also helps us to ensure that our tasks do not have spelling errors.
One of the advantages of word is that it has many tools that allow users to create creative files and with an excellent presentation, you can develop several research papers quickly and the best thing is that it has an autocorrector that allows you to know if a word is well written and avoid misspellings.
The cost of word is very high compared to other applications that offer the same for free, in addition to this for some people it can be very difficult to understand how to use word so they prefer other applications with a much simpler handling.

I have different opinions about my least favorite thing about Microsoft Word. I think some features are lacking or could be improved, like the lack of advanced design features or the need for more advanced image editing tools. I've used Microsoft Word in countless roles for over two decades and have always been pleased with the experience it provides. Intuitive for beginners but with a bit of extra delving and study, the programme offers lots of useful advanced functions.
Microsoft Word is very intuitive to use and if you should struggle with any aspect of it use, the help function is comprehensive and easy to use. The huge range of templates available and the thorough spelling/grammar checks mean that anyone can produce professional looking documents. Mail merge is very easy to use and very useful for large scale communications. Frequent updates mean that functions and user experience are continually improving.
Microsoft office is quite expensive, yet you do get good value for money. The interface is a bit dated - but if it ain't broke, why fix it?

MS word has helped us produce professional documents that are organized and clear. It has helped us with organizing and record keeping. Overall it helps us convey to others that we are a serious and professional business.
This is my preferred product. It has advanced features and can keep up with our growing needs, especially when integrated with other Microsoft products (which are all great). Microsoft word has so many available features and options. I've yet to need something that Word did not offer. It has been around for a long time. I'm very familiar with it, infact I've been using it since elementary school.
Price... There are so many great products that integrate with MS word, however all of them can be expensive. Word isn't really complete without these other products. For example you need a place to store the documents you create with Word. You'll then need to pay for one drive. If you want to make a presentation using these documents or files you've stored, you'll need to pay for PowerPoint.. I also wish that the offline accessibility was better.

It is the number one Word editing software in the world with revolutionary. With a bit of price and features jugglery, it can improve its share in the market.
1. MS Word is the first option that comes to mind and is synonymous with "Document." From the old days of the MS-DOS operating system with WordStar, MS-Word has been the first choice for countless users globally. 2. There are so many features that you may discover something new every time you delve deeper to learn more. Features like Mail Merge, Macros, Smart Art, Design Templates, Tracking Changes,...
1. Of late, MS Word is getting intense competition from Google docs. Most of the available features in MS Word are for free on the Google Docs platform. But for office 365, you need to pay a hefty amount. Bundling ensures that you cannot buy only MS Word. Even if you can, it will be expensive, especially when Google gives everything free. 2. Similarly, several open-source projects offer free service...

I have used the Microsoft suite for a straight 10+ years now, from my early school days to my workplace. Unless a better writing tool gets created, I will use Microsoft Word forever. The functionalities are advanced, and it has a great design template and dynamic data. I love cloud-native tools. Maybe I might be biased about how great the software is since It's practically all I have used since my teenage years(I have tried other software). The integration between word and outlook is effortless. I can send emails to clients faster. But technology is growing, and there are now free options like Google Docs that provide similar features. That might be a problem for Microsoft since it’s so expensive!
The software responds well to commands, best for reading and writing documents. Being a writer means that you typically do not have time to save every new idea every second, so having automatic save makes life so much easier for me - and unexpected load shedding doesn't affect my work. Features that are Grammarly-like, offline components ensure your work is error-free. The software can collaborate with other software like Adobe Acrobat, which is a plus if I need to submit work in pdf format. I love how the software is improving every year. There are always new features that make the use of the application easier. My favorite function is the word search tool, especially when there is a suspicion of plagiarism in my articles.
I hardly have anything horrible to say about the program, although that may be the case; there are a few things that Microsoft can do to help make it more assessable for everyone. 1. There are too many technical bugs in the converting function for people who work heavily with PDF files. 2. Not that simple to use, Microsoft can try to make the software a bit simpler. 3. The program is just overall expensive, especially now that there’s Google Docs, there is a chance people will leave Microsoft for Google Docs.

In Hungary, but I reckon in other nations as well, MS Word is the leader, but no the only sw. used to create a "Word" file we do not even call them "documents", "text files", that is how Word sw. became a part of our life. MS Word is on the market for nearly 40 years, one of the most widely-can-be-used sw. on the market and I believe the best text editor right now. Happy to have it, I am using Office kit from my elementary school days and will be using still in the future. There are some rival to MS Word, but it is still the leader, MS has the intention, money, manpower to make it better, but it needs to listen and hear the sound of its users to give the users what they need and want.
A lot of training materials, examples, training tasks are available, both online (videos, PDFs, descriptions) and "offline", I mean books, leaflets, notes) to get the potential out of MS Word. You can have it for free, if you are a student, can buy even genuine key for a very low price, MS "World" and some sw. are available with an MS account for free, with great functionality. Word and MS Office package...
There is an option to share a document and simultaneously edit it, this function needs polishing so as the online version and the Professional / O365 versions. Developing a program to use Word's resources may be not that easy at first, its programming language could be better. Having a password to protect you doc. is not the best, not that hard to crack it sometimes. Sometimes bugs may appear, like...

In general, MS Word is my go-to for document creation when I am the only one working on a document or when I am preparing a document to give to others. It isn't my favorite for live collaboration, but I much prefer the variety of features in the desktop version compared to the features of other document creation products.
I am very familiar with MS Word in general and have used it since I was in high school. I like its ease of use and in general, it has all the features I need for creating and tracking changes to the documents I work with on a day-to-day basis.
I do not like that it is now a subscription-based service. While the cloud version is free, it is limited in space and the features are slightly different. I do not think it is worth the subscription price and much prefer the desktop version to the web version (except for the ease of access of documents when I am out of the office). Formatting, especially in regards to tables, tabs, and margins, has a tendency to get messed up every so often in the browser version.

I have been organizing my business as well as my life and personal goals using Microsoft word. I had no idea I could find such useful features like grocery lists or household schedules or bill pay tables to help me organize my life and get my family running smoothly at the same time as my business. I've been a lifelong user of Microsoft word and I've only continued to enjoy my experience it's only gotten better.
The most impactful feature for me was the ability to work offline and have basically total access to my past and current projects and documents. Another vital feature to my business as well as just everyday life are all of the extra templates, themes, fonts, designs and tutorials available online that are easily and seamlessly integrated into the app. You literally click one button or link, search...
I feel like there could definitely be MORE fonts and design like features. Even with the linked online database there's a need for more design aspect especially if you're not familiar with how do you do things from scratch using Microsoft word. Otherwise there's not a whole lot I just like about word I wish it was cheaper or that the free version was as fully accessible as the paid version that can be frustrating.

My overall impression of Word is amazing. It's great software, made for businesses in mind, & definitely has been in the business to build a strong Brand name. However, their price shows it. I have difficulty spending the kind of cost that Microsoft Office is charging these days.
Microsoft Word is one of the absolute best programs out there. I was able to integrate third-party apps for in-app pay. It was extremely convenient. Also, my calendar synced up with my task lists and vice versa. I didn't have to remember to do it or let my assistant know.
This software is a little more confusing on the general interface than what the average consumer is used to seeing. However, I do have faith. People do move with the times and I'm certain it will be a memory when grandmas didn't know how to text. It's also very expensive for what you get. I do love the additional features but, to be honest, Google Workspace may have its issues, but I'd much rather deal with it than pay the cost of Word.

Overall, I highly recommend others to use this software because of its simplicity, usefulness, and reliability. It is user friendly, everything is pretty simple to do and learn even for new learners.
This program is user-friendly and has made a lot of difficult tasks simple and easy to implement. I have been using this program for more than eight years and I still use it because, it makes my work so easy that I can make different types of documents, write essays, make resume, cover letter, job application, proposals, reports, books, and other types of documents. It takes less time to learn and...
Although, it is difficult to talk about the things I do not like about this software. I still want to say that, its pros are much more than its cons, because of the fact that it is flexible, trustworthy and simple to use. The only minor thing I do not like about software is that sometimes it is difficult to change some documents into a format that you like, but that also could be the result of not knowing how to do it.

I think it's a little costly, but I make professional use of writing, and this is affordable. Its complexity needs high system requirements, and its use isn't always fluid. One more thing: customer support isn't the best. It could be more streamlined and efficient. The same applies to account management: it's cumbersome and unnecessarily bureaucratic. A big enterprise like Microsoft can do much better for its clients.
I have used Microsoft Word since the '90s, and now I'm an advanced user. I am a career coach, and it's an everyday partner in my activity of creating and managing documents, effective CVs, resumes, letters, handouts, educational tools, projects, and agreements with my coachees. I love the power of a well-written presentation, and this tool and its advanced features are high-performative. In particular, I love the control panel; it's full of options and well-organized, and the style feature allows me to create beautiful documents. Another feature that I frequently use is the dictation tool: I can "write" while reading. It's accurate and fast!

Microsoft Word helped in everything related to writing and editing texts, as well as correcting spelling errors in them. It is the main reference for any written texts for easy export from it to other applications and e-mail platforms. It also inspires us always to invent new formats for reports, many things that are difficult to count.

I started using Word in 90s when letters were printed and sent with envelopes; it was already a great product. Never a disappointment, the program runs well and it's easy to use and you will learn quickly. In case of need there is a lot of tutorial and documentation on internet.
Microsoft Word is easy to use, in the home section you will find the most use functions, every button has a popup help that describes what the button will do. The other sections allows you for example to insert tables, images and change the layout of your document. The print preview is under the File Tab, I usually use CTRL P to recall it. Documents can also be password protected for more security, just keep in mind that if you forget the password you will not able to open your word file at all. I mainly use Word to create short manuals, but sometimes i write commercial letters and also funny greeting card. A great program, worth the price. I tried other similar programs, but Word is much better.
Word is not free; in case of troubles you have to reinstall the office suite, not the single program

Purposes behind Choosing Microsoft Word: I picked Microsoft word over these different items since I am exceptionally acquainted with Microsoft word and it's product I have been involving it for 20 something years. It's what I figured out how to utilize a PC on fundamentally and I have taken a couple of classes about how to utilize the highlights. While different items to my comprehension are essentially very comparable simply less expensive, I couldn't sort out everything on them and something really doesn't add up about you know quality and what you pay for that.
The most effective element for me was the capacity to work disconnected and have fundamentally complete admittance to my past and current undertakings and records. One more fundamental component to my business as well as daily existence are every one of the additional formats, subjects, textual styles, plans and instructional exercises accessible internet based that are effectively and consistently...
I feel like there could be MORE textual styles and configuration like elements. Indeed, even with the connected web-based data set there's a requirement for more plan perspective particularly on the off chance that you're curious about how would you get things done without any preparation utilizing Microsoft word. Generally there's not a ton I very much like about word I wish it was less expensive or that the free rendition was really completely open baffling.

Microsoft Word has been a very indispensable program from my school days to my current working time. I have been able to present documents with a good degree of professionalism and to this day I am grateful for how it has made my life easier. In my opinion, Word is one of the most important tools that should be in any office work.
Microsoft Word allows me to create very well organized documents thanks to its wide variety of options for editing. It is a software with a good performance capable of creating very professional documents, which makes it indispensable in any area of work, especially in office work. Word also supports multiple formats. The more you know about Word, the more you know about how to take advantage of all the features of this powerful word processor and how to save much more time. It also integrates very well with other programs in the Office package.
It's a pretty heavy program. As the number of objects and pages increases, the program slows down a lot, especially on computers with low resources. On the other hand, it has an innumerable number of options, which are distributed in a confusing way in the interface. The learning curve of this program can be very slow and many times the experience is not enough to know all the possibilities offered by Microsoft Word.
