Can’t change a payment method if you hit the wrong one causing issues at end of day. Has messed up inventory/costs 2-3 x and we lost our work.

We love the ease of configuration and customization that is available. Looking forward to our growth expansion, we have concluded that we have made a right selection for a POS platform.

Customer support is garbage. These guys happily take your money but when a problem occurs your left to basically sort problems out yourself with cookie cutter answers from a woeful support team.

I have been using the Vend for more than six months. I am really happy with; the POS is very good and easy to use, even for those who dont have any POS experience.

Vend is a great app for businesses willing to dish out. Vend makes the price tag worth it but having a great designed app which packs a lot of features for a great experience.

An intuitive piece of software, backed by superb customer service. I have never hung up the phone without my issue being resolved.

The software does all the basics we are looking for but the best part is that Vend is constantly improving features and their support is really great.

The reports give me the information I need. The help desk is excellent and help me out and return my calls in a timely manner.

One thing that makes Vend great is the loyalty program and the integration with PayPal Here and Tyro (in Australia) for quick and easy payments.

Since the release of Vend Register (Built for Ipad) it really has improved its easy of use and it is now reliable cash point that we would recommend for any small retail business.

Overal it was good, I think for a small business that's trying to save on expenses and monthly costs - it's a viable option.

Excellent to manage inventory and sales for multiple locations. We use this for our USA and France offices to manage inventory and sales.

Very user friendly and easy to use with reporting tools and sales data.

In other words, it can't all be from 3 people making mistakes in one system when we all discuss and get frustrated by it on a daily basis.

Setup and operation was a breeze, and if there was a bit more functionality for bar operations, we would have stuck with it.

We ended up having to reluctantly switch to a different, far more expensive software in the end, but Vend was great for most aspects of our business.

Ecwid integrates seamlessly with vend. I wish we could use Ecwid as our main POS instead of Vend, but it is only a website shopping cart plugin or tablet app, and we need something that runs on a PC.

We started using full time in Mar 2021 and one day - a month later -  our retail staff reported inability to view customer loyalty points and edit customer details.

I Love Vend its one of the easiest platforms to use and I have used a lot. I run a small business thats not very big and this system has worked great for me. 

The Best POS System 

I can record what are my weekly sales, to give my employees comision of their sales, to check inventoroy.

Its easy to use in a variety of laptops and Ipad.

Vend POS has made my life so much easier.  I like being able to search, order, plan from home and not have to go into the store to do work.  I also enjoy that I can search almost anything.

Vend sets up your users and products at the beginning but it is then very straight forward to add new users, change their access or remove them. Same with the products, you can create categories so that the till only have a few buttons and you then have products in each category. Very good system!

Super easy to use!

The change to Vend works out very well according to an expense point of view. We've saved huge number of rands in POS equipment, support and consultancy expenses

The more they iterate on the software, the more they remove useful features. Combined with how much they cost, there is a stronger choice out there (php pos)

The have a great product and serves a need in the niche and specialty retail market.  I have used it many of times and integrated it with clients and tested it with many different types of businesses.  The main concern is the speed and the register interface screen layout.  I think in time some of the issues will get reworked.  I like the integrations with apps and online.  Being cloud based its very easy to rollout to more than one location.  Reporting is very robust and it will report all types of sales from every source.  I recommend it to any clothing store, bridal shops, craft shops, hobby shops, etc.

It is my POS system in our store. I love that it is internet based so that I can access it from home as well. 

This is POS for dummies! So easy to use and straight forward in functionality.

From customer service stand point, they are an amazing company, they will try to accommodate and go  above and beyond to help you.

Overal it was good, I think for a small business that's trying to save on expenses and monthly costs - it's a viable option. Once you start making some real cash, and you want to go online as well - I think there are better platforms to fit your need

Solid for Small Businesses 

If Vend had training that worked, it might help. The register part of the program worked well to produce tickets. Vend would send an email to ask us what could be done to improve. I replied with a large list of problems twice but did not get a phone call to ask what they  could do to help.

We grew up with this software because it forced us to follow their business methods. This has helped us on our change over to Light speed retail
