Chatbox overview

Chatbox provides inside sales and service teams with an SMS, Facebook Messenger and live chat messaging platform which integrates with Salesforce, Oracle Service Cloud, and other CRM systems. With features to add automation (bots), and real-time data capture using Chatbox’s Instant Apps feature, businesses are able to communicate directly with their customers through two-way conversations and send links to web-based apps for data collection.

Chatbox enables a variety of businesses within industries such as field service, travel, real estate, or automotive to get real-time answers from customers. Users are able to create and send work orders, simple forms, customer surveys and troubleshooting wizards; collect photos, eSignatures, and payments; as well as schedule a reservation or an appointment, all via two-way messaging. The platform tracks all customer information such as purchase history, appointments, contact history and any other data that flows in and out of the existing database.

For more complex interactions, Chatbox includes the Instant Apps feature which provides users with a set of tools to create custom forms, invoices, wizards and work orders, without the need for a developer. Users can drag and drop the functionality they need using a web-based tool and style their custom apps to match their company’s brand.

Chatbox then sends a text or Facebook message to customers with a link that opens a mobile-friendly application which guides them through a wizard-like experience. Customers can then upload their photos, provide signatures, and enter, correct or approve customer information, all via their smartphone. Chatbox pulls and pushes information to and from existing CRMs in real time, providing organizations with accurate and updated information directly from customers.

We have seen close rates jump up around 20%-30% on individuals who had received SMS messages vs those that did not. In addition to those tangible benefits, the software is easiest enough to use that our internal users really enjoy having this tool at their disposal.Chatbox is an incredibly lightweight yet powerful tool. It was incredibly easy to work with the team to setup text messaging within our Salesforce CRM. The biggest pro for me is how flexible Chatbox is with building and implementing our product. We had a few but very specific requests on how the service needed to connect with Salesforce and Chatbox was VERY receptive to these asks and built out our needs accordingly. Beyond this, as we worked to roll out some automated texting from our Salesforce application they responded to feedback and changes we had requested and worked quickly to implement. Very impressive.

Chatbox makes it easy to text customers directly from salesforce, and keeps a record of SMS conversations on the salesforce file. It's as easy to keep texting records as it is to keep email records with Chatbox.
