If you have recently made changes in your Intacct account check to see when the most recent sync was. If Intacct has not yet synced to Mineral Tree the GL balance you are viewing may be wrong.

During the recent pandemic, it was a huge plus that I could still pay anyone virtually, even if the vendor required a paper check.  With everyone working remotely I am able to move everything through in a timely manner without seeing a single soul.

Lynn, thanks so much for your review! For Intacct users, the only invoice field that cannot be modified after posting to Intacct is the GL posting date. In the coming weeks we will be updating our sync capabilities, at which point we will be able to support changes to that field as well. We started using MineralTree hard and fast. We utilized the multiple review & approval process, the document capture and nearly every payment method possible. We saved time being able to pull documents for audit with the great search feature. This used to be time consuming searching in filing cabinets.  The payment process saves time where we used to print manual checks, stuff the envelopes and then attach the bill stub to be filed.  Now it is at the push of the button. So many of my vendors have commented how they appreciate the email remittance that is sent out with each payment. Then things amped-up when Invoice Automation rolled out. This cut processing time in half.

I think the MineralTree product configuration is very logical, with sound separation of the different fiscal management responsibilities, vendor and invoice processing controls, and payment disciplines.  In that much of our staff works remotely, MineralTree offers our multiple users an easy to navigate platform that readily allows them to focus on their part in the process for entering, approving, and paying vendor invoicing activity.  The process workflow is very straightforward, offering a range of (invoice) in-process management tools and reporting options to keep each of the individual users well informed throughout the transaction cycle.  While I have only interacted with their customer support staff on a few occasions, they were very prompt and thorough in responding back to my requests.  Transactional history is readily accessible through a variety of different reporting and visualization options, offering a full range of accounting and financial management alternatives for tracking our Company's activity.  I would recommend the MineralTree platform to other organizations looking to simplify the cash disbursements cycle in their Company, particularly those working in decentralized approval environments.

I have been using MineralTree for 2+ years and can't give them enough praise.  They have been a lifesaver when it comes to Accounts Payable and have contributed to countless hours saved in automating the AP process.   No company should be cutting physical checks, worry about signatures, paper documents, chasing people for approvals etc.  MineralTree can handle everything from invoice capture to payment and automating everything in between.

This product has changed AP for me personally. It's such a relief to not have to manually be cutting checks or initiating ACH payments. This makes remote AP possible and saves me and my entire team a ton of time. There are also great internal controls built in to decrease accidental mistakes and block fraud.

Very simple, streamlined process for paying invoices!

I have found the MineralTree application to be very functional in providing us an automated process to capture, approve and pay our vendor invoices.   It is easy to learn, setup and begin using.  As with any application, there are a few user interface and feature changes we'd like to see... but it is light years ahead of our prior process.   I think MineralTree will be a very efficient and cost effective solution for us.

Initial Experience with MineralTree AP

I've used Mineral Tree with two different software integrations for about 2 years now. I'm impressed with the stability and speed at which improvements and new functionality is introduced.  The application provides separate approval workflows for the invoice as well as the payments.  This is very valuable in the organizations that I work with as invoices are approved by the various department heads, but the payments are approved by the CFO.  No other bill pay solution I've found  provides this separation.

Invoice to pay works pretty good with our NetSuite program. It is user friendly and easy to access, the only issue I would say is the timing in sync'ing with our ERP.  We have been using the system for around a year now.  Being able to access the system away from work is good. My approvers are able to approve while out of the office so this works well. I am interested in the enhanced invoice approval workflow.

Seamless process for invoice processing

MineralTree has saved a tremendous amount of time across our entire company. The entire accounts payable cycle is virtually automated through MineralTree. Invoices are captured and read via OCR when received via email from vendors, automatically routed to the appropriate team member for approval, and coded and posted to our ERP system by our Senior Accountant. Payments are submitted for review to the proper approvers and sent to vendors via the selected method (ACH, check, etc.). MineralTree has transformed our team and allowed us to focus our time on more value-add initiatives.

Great for a growing company

Always difficult and a challenge to use.  There is little or no customer support.  They force frequent changes of my password

Alan, thanks for your review. I apologize for the customer support issues you are facing. Our Director of Customer Success will be in touch and will be your main point of contact. As for your password changes, we enforce a password change every 90-days to maintain the highest level of security for our customers.

Some features like split approval should be considered.  Rerouting and partial approval can be helpful. Rest is very slick. 

Needs a little work

Invoice-to-pay has automated my accounts payable. It is easier to keep a check on due dates and the payment is done automatically. I recommend this software.

For more reviews like this, please click below. When we were considering MineralTree, we also looked at Concur and one other payment provider. I think it was like [Thin Gray 00:00:23] or something, and they both were substantially higher and bigger investments for our company and us being a non-profit, being fiscally conservative was a huge factor, and when MineralTree was able to kind of show that the ROI of switching to their platform would more than paid for itself and actually generate a little bit of kickback or revenue for our company by switching some of our payments to their credit card cash back program, it was really a no-brainer for us. We went with MineralTree for several factors. We were previously doing invoice processing completely manual, and we had over 10 locations across the Midwest that were mailing us invoices, and then they didn't have insight into the accounting system or access.
                                                       So, they were constantly wondering where their invoices were in key process or queue. And so with MineralTree, we were able to completely automate that and the end process with them electronically uploading invoices to an email inbox, and then having complete visibility to approve and delegate approval within the system and track their vendor payments, which freed up a lot of our time, and we were actually able to reduce our AP headcount by half with the time savings that MineralTree provided us. Onboarding with MineralTree was fairly simplistic. They had like a one-two process, which made it very easy for us, and they provided substantial amount of training internally to not only equip our AP person with handling AP, but also with the train the trainer approach. So, we were able to equip our executive admins and our business offices on how to handle invoice payments.
                                                       We did have a few hiccups there with our accounting system and the setup there with it being a third party multi-tenant server that we were on that they were quickly able to hurdle and tackle for us, but it just took a little bit more in the onboarding process, but again, their internal teams handled it like a champ and helped us get through it, overcome those hurdles and get us live and operational and I think it all was in a matter of less than two weeks from signing the contract.
                                                       My big recommendation would be go for it, whether it's MineralTree or some other software that works better for your organization. We saw a huge time savings in automating our AP process and creating that visibility was so invaluable to our organization and allowed a lot of quicker or more efficient decision-making and freed up our AP's time from getting constant calls of vendors wondering where their payments were.
