I've been in the industry over 25 years and have seen the evolution of audit GRC tools and by far, AuditBoard is the best in class above it's predecessors and competition. It's highly intuitive and as such has a high rate of adoption by key stakeholders, external vendors and clients, and the broad company as well. Also what stands out is the continual improvement the AuditBoard team makes to the application and functionality. We've suggested enhancements over the past few years and they listened and built it into the next release, and updates happen several times a year. AuditBoard takes the admin burden off my team and lets them be critical thinkers and well worth the investment.

Implementation for us was the hardest part of the process, although the team is very patient and guides us through it and answers all our questions. Most helpful is networking with other current users of the modules you're implementing to leverage tips when customising the look and feel to your company. We also leveraged the help of Protiviti which provided immense and valuable help as an implementation partner.

it can attach many fields, and the speed is pretty fast since a user can quickly open each section, no delay.

Not easy to create reports for data analysis or trending analysis, it is hard to change layout. For example, when adding a new field or removing a field, it may impact the archived audits since that field was used before.

WorkStream has become super helpful in requesting documents from clients and completing quality reviews. It's easy and notifies the correct people all the time.

The risk assessment is not as clear as I want it. We create and rate each business units, however, it stops there, and doesn't help us plan for what audits should be completed for the upcoming years.

Cross module functionality around connecting audits, controls, & risks. We also enjoy the workflow capabilities to better or interactions & outcomes with stakeholders. Also, the helpdesk is very knowledgeable & timely (which is a rarity compared to some of the other software / applications we use)

Automated Reporting functionally - This area has greatly improved with the introduction & further enhancement of the dashboarding & external database connections

This is the first audit software that we have evaluated that feels like it has adapted to current technologies and processes. It is easy to configure and use, with the right amount of customization allowed. Our team quickly adopted the tool and we streamlined our audit process with the OpsAudit module very easily. When we have issues or questions, Support is readily available to help. The web-based functionality is great for our remote team and make local support fairly easy! I would highly recommend the consideration of AuditBoard for your team!

The tiered levels of subscription limit some of the functionality that is available, even some things that don't feel like motivators to upgrade (e.g. utilization of "required" fields, etc.). Some teams don't have the ability or budget to spend more, so in reality, many are limited to the functionality offered at lower tiers. Not a showstopper, but difficult to manage when release notes indicate new functions.

AuditBoard makes setting up and organising all internal audits a breeze! It is very user friendly and intuitive, and guides auditors through their audits step by step.

This software is extremely helpful for staff auditors, but the reporting side of the software could be improved.

I think I enjoy how user friendly the system is. I came from a public accounting company and the layout of AuditBoard made a lot of sense and everything clicked for me shortly.

I wouldn't say that this is something that I don't like about AuditBoard itself, but I work on GITC, and I feel like I may not be able to utilise the full functionality of AuditBoard. We have many systems that are tested as part of a single control and it can make it tough to utilise all of the different features that I think are helpful, but just would not make sense to use from a GITC perspective.

Software is very intuitive to use. Implementation team was very helpful during initial phases. Documenting and reviewing workpapers is much more efficient than it was using our previous system.

System seems to time out frequently without warning. Additionally, we have had issues with access and have been unable to realize as much efficiency as we would like.

How easy it is to navigate and use. I'm able to upload and edit documents with ease and can share with documents easily.

I don't like how when you download zip files from a control, you can't upload the zip files under your folders. You have to unzip then reupload.

I love that Auditboard is so user friendly for process/control owners. Everything is laid out step-by-step and easy to use. Workstream is such a great functionality too - our PBC requests went from a very manual and not well tracked process to easily repeatable and understood throughout the organiztion.

As an administrator, I've found there are a lot of tricky functionality steps to take. Once you know them, it's very simple and makes sense, but to first start out knowing nothing there is a learning curve. For instance, adding a new control simply adds it to a control listing in settings and there is a separate step to add the control to the control/testing environment. Again, not a difficult step to take, but it is a little tricky when first starting out.

It's very easy to use, especially with big team members, everything is updated immediately and is helpful. Also, with the comments section and audit log, it makes it easy.

The user interface is intuitive, making it very easy for the end users to complete requirements. The different modules offered can support a company very well. Deployment globally was seamless and the system itself is very responsive (no time lag).

Design and permission adjustments, while possible, are a bit challenging - expectation is to use the software "out of the box" which might not appeal if a more nuanced or complex approach is needed. The team is supportive in achieving requirements but it's a bit of a lift.

This software has streamlined our audit process from start to finish and has saved us tons of hours of project management.

I have nothing negative to say about the software.

AuditBoard has been a great help in our issue tracking and task management process. We've had a great response from our front line users with the tasks we send for management response and issue tracking and it has helped version control issues from previous tools used.

Since we were a newly developed audit program, the implementation was a little more difficult because we didn't yet have the forms and processes built to easily implement. We had some struggles with implementation and are still building things out, but AuditBoard has helped us through this process.

In my position i sue both SOXHub and OpsAudit. I have found the ease of use the biggest success in using the product. I am able to quickly and easily get to the testing i need to review and move throughout the system. Additionally the reporting and dashboards with SOXhub are excellent for reporting to management.

I sometimes find the updating of status and saving of work to be delayed or may even be lost. An increase in responsiveness to the product would be very helpful.

We enjoy the ease of use, organization, ability to customize existing fields. We also love the customer support we've been provided to ensure we're fully utilize AB.

We would like to see compatibility with PPT documents (including using hashtags in those types of documents). In addition, we're looking forward to increased customization over resource planning.

I appreciate how easy it is for the user to create, organize, and archive audits within the OpsAudit function.

The biggest issue I have experienced is the permissions; however, it seems this has been addressed. I will discuss with my internal audit team how we can utilize the teams permissions approach to make granting permissions easier.

I like the visibility and linking of items from one module to another module.

Importing files can be challenging, or forgetting to save and losing changes when you open a document to edit. If you move from screen to screen, changes are not saved and I loose a lot of my work if I forget to save.
