Greg: I'm Greg. I'm the managing partner of our law firm. I'm reviewing TimeSolv Legal Billing, which I give five stars and for more reviews like this, click below. Penn Law Net, which is an Apple-based product, and I am on a Windows platform right now, and actually, this is an internet-based product and we also used various other time and billing softwares, including I was with a couple large firms that had proprietary software for billing. I took a spin using TimeSolv and did the demo and determined that it was really to ease of use and the reporting. I liked the fact that I could use it over all of the platforms in my phone, my iPad, my laptop, that really sold me on purchasing this product. It didn't take long at all to be able to... They have tutorials that you use to determine how to use the product. And going through the initial tutorial, it was explained, pretty much everything I need to know to get started. And, then over time there are other tutorials that helped me drill down on the items that I needed to use the product. I'm a big fan of TimeSolv. I like the ability to input time and expenses easily and on the go. It's easy to set up clients. I just really enjoy the product. I think that people will find that when they're trying to input payments, make invoicing, prepare invoices, it's just an ease.

Robert A.: Robert, I'm an attorney. I have one person in my firm, which is me, and I give TimeSolv a four. I use TimeSolv to do my daily timekeeping for clients and to do a bill at the end of the month. It's easy to use and it's on my computer and seems to be very efficient. Well, what I dislike is it's much more complex and has a lot more opportunities to do things than I need, which then sort of complicates it a little bit for me. I'm sure there are features there that I might be able to use, but I haven't been able to figure them out yet, but it's got a lot of options.

I've used some of the bigger name time entry systems in the past and when we decided to move to a smaller boutique firm, the money for those bigger time entry systems just was not there. We tested a few, but the one that has been the best has been TimeSolv. From a timekeeper standpoint, I am glad we have switched to TimeSolv. The cost per user is great and it works well with our small firm.
We love that we can see the number of hours billed each day in the month, editing and adding information is easy and adding disbursements is as well. The search features and most other items are easy.
Some of the information in our timekeeping isn't automatically added into our bills (which need to be). However, working with customer service to get those items added in has been a breeze.

As a user, none. That is a management Q.
I like the 'timer' integrated app in Outlook and in Timesolv. Very useful. Ability to import 'Other Charges' from Excel is also very useful.
Account number, it doesn't use them and nor will assign them. However, there is a workaround, but it is outside of TimeSolv.

Overall we are very happy with the software. When we have had any issues, the support department has been very responsive and easy to work with.
The interfaces for time and expense entries are very easy to use. Being able to access the software from anywhere makes it very attractive when we are traveling out of the area for legal matters.
It would be nice to have a greater ability to modify the invoice templates.

From the initial transition to current use, I have been extremely happy with TimeSolv.
TimeSolv is very user friendly. After using another legal billing software program (also had "Time" in its name) that was very user UNfriendly and constantly froze and had a long list of other issues, converting to TimeSolv was a dream. The customer support is also amazing.
That there is a difference between statements and invoices, and that all clients with balances do not automatically print (if they have not incurred new charges during the billing period at hand).
TimeSolv Legal Billing has the following pricing plans:
Starting from: $47.50/month
Pricing model: Subscription
