TelemetryTV FAQs
Q. What is TelemetryTV used for?
TelemetryOS is a vertically integrated screen application platform used by organizations that treat screens as part of their product: QSR chains, retailers, hospitals, campuses, factories, and DooH networks. It is the next generation of TelemetryTV, trusted since 2014, powering tens of thousands of screens in 40+ countries with 99.9% uptime. The architecture separates the cloud management plane from the edge runtime. Studio (multi-tenant SaaS) handles content management, fleet orchestration, and user administration; the hardened Edge OS handles local rendering, caching, and hardware abstraction, so screens keep running even when offline. Purpose-built Node hardware covers every tier: Node Mini for single-screen 4K signage, Node Pro for multi-display applications and I/O, and Node Max for custom edge AI workloads - all managed as one fleet from Studio, with BYOD options supported. Content teams design visually in the Page Layout Engine: an infinite canvas with layers, snap-to-grid, grouping, per-page scheduling (day, time, date range, device tags), dayparting, touch interactivity, and video wall support for any multi-display grid, with a draft-review-publish workflow. Developers build real applications with the React-first SDK (React, Vue, or any web framework), REST API, and webhooks. The Developer App adds AI-assisted development with an 18-tool MCP server and 15 domain skills, plus Git-to-screen CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab) with staged rollouts and one-click rollback. Integration surfaces connect screens to the physical world: MQTT, serial devices (RS-232), USB peripherals, POS systems, data feeds, and third-party APIs - so menus, dashboards, and kiosks respond to real-world conditions. Device management includes a fleet dashboard, OTA updates, remote reboot, health monitoring, emergency overrides, and CAP alerts, with proof-of-play and exportable reports. Security and compliance are enterprise-grade: SOC 2, GDPR, SSO/SAML, role-based access control, API key management, an application sandbox, and an outbound-only network posture. Node hardware starts at $299/device with a 90-day Studio Premium trial included; licensing is $99/device/year from the first renewal. Request a demo at telemetryos.com.
