Our business is running smoother since changing but we are slowly getting everything in the new system. It is taking some time but it easy to find orders/invoices when you know what to look for. I use it daily to send invoices, correct price errors, correct PO numbers.
I like that we are able to have all of our stages in one program. From our quotes to our invoices, we can keep track of the progress of each transaction. You can search by customer, order number, PO number, amount and there are many more options. After some training and a better understanding of how accounting works, I have excelled at understanding what needs to be done to correct issues or fix errors. I appreciate the ability to put notes on each quote, order, and invoice.
I wish there was a little more features such as having automatic invoices from multiple vendors but I think they may be working on that. I also wish there was a creation date for invoices and not just a posting date. I also wish there was a way to link invoices after you have made a change/correction such as the PO number being incorrect. Once you change the PO number, you have no idea that it went to another invoice.

Dynamics 365 Business Central is a robust ERP solution that provides small and medium-sized enterprises with the scalability and flexibility they require to manage their finances, supply chain, sales, and service activities. Its cloud-based platform provides customers with simple access to data as well as a variety of customization choices. Customizations, on the other hand, can be complicated, and pricing might be an issue for small organizations. Overall, Business Central is a good option for companies that want to streamline their processes and increase their overall efficiency.
Dynamics 365 Business Central is an all-in-one ERP solution that combines financial management, supply chain management, sales, and service. Its cloud-based platform provides users with greater flexibility and accessibility, allowing them to access data at any time and from any location.firm Central includes an easy-to-use interface and a variety of customization options to match the unique demands of each firm.
Customizations can be complex and require considerable technical knowledge, making modifications impossible for non-technical users.Integration with third-party systems might be difficult, and some functions may necessitate further customization or development.Pricing can be an issue for small organizations because the cost of adding numerous users or additional services can quickly escalate.

Dynamics 365 is a full and adaptable enterprise solution that could be a great alternative for companies that aim to integrate and automate their business procedures. Nevertheless, the price and the difficulty level could be hurdles, so it is important for organizations to evaluate whether the solution is suitable for their specific requirements before making a commitment.
The system seamlessly integrates with other Microsoft solutions, including Office 365 and Power BI, to provide users with a cohesive and smooth experience. The system offers the ability to be tailored and adjusted to meet the specific requirements of an organization. The integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning can enhance efficiency and decision-making capabilities. The solution undergoes regular updates and improvements to ensure it stays current with the latest trends and technologies.
Users who lack prior experience with CRM or ERP solutions may face a steep learning curve. Some companies may consider the reliance on Microsoft a potential risk, as they prefer solutions that are more independent. The price of Dynamics 365 may be a barrier for certain businesses, particularly those that don't require all of its features.

It has been a good product in managing business and its resources. Implementing it makes you learn a lot about what goes into managing and running a standard business
it’s a detailed ERP software that can function on its own without tiresome integrations even though it has accommodation for API integrations
The fact that the license is a bit expensive so it’s best for large companies with lots of users.

Horrible! Cannot wait to get rid of it!
Honestly, there is very little I like about this software. The potential capabilities of the newest product line are great. It just costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it programmed and even more to keep it up to date.
Too expensive to update as needed. Way too expensive to have it front loaded. Too complicated for an in house team to set up. This is the most complicated and finicky software I have ever had to use. I cannot wait until we are using our new ERP system. Software times you out after a few minutes and does not autosave. Information fields do no flow properly between functions.

Here are some of the specific benefits I've experienced since using Dynamics 365:• Greater productivity and profitablity• Improved forecasting and analysis• Effective monitoring of inputs and outputs.• Easy to use interface that can be accessed from anywhere, anytime• Optimized workflow• Easy access to customer data
I like Microsoft Dynamics since it synchronizes very well with the office suite, it has helped me increase productivity and profitability. It offers analysis and reporting tools to make forecasts, as well as the ability to monitor the inputs and outputs of the projects I am in charge of.Dynamics 365 allows me to get the requirements from my clients as well as my supplier partners with ease and has helped me create a perfect wokflow for my business. Additionally, Dynamics 365 allows me to onboard new clients, collect and save their data, and easily access it when I need it.
A negative point is its price, it is expensive. And synchronization with other platforms is dificult, from my point of view it should be more open for better interaction with other software.

My experience was horrible as partners can deploy the Software but theask you enormous amounts over R200k to set it up. I also found that there is no support in South Africa for the software, you cannot phone quickly and found out how a thing is working. You have to go through the trouble to watch videos or read on Microsoft Learn. I could also not found one accountant who could work in this software for over two years. This was my biggest headache as well as the support on this software.
Business Central is a great software with a lot of functionalities. It is the best account ing software in the market..
Business Central support is South Africa does not exist. The partners are really useless and see Business Central as a way to make a quick buck. They rip you off and want to charge over R200k. I worked through business central and to set it up should not cost you more than 10k. Another setback is that you don't get accountants in South Africa that know how the software is working. It is crucial to be transparent about the initial learning curve and potential costs associated with implementation and customization. These aspects can be challenging when communicating product value to potential customers, especially small businesses with limited budgets
I can say that Dynamics 365 Business Central stands out for several key aspects. What I value most is its seamless integration with the Microsoft ecosystem, which greatly facilitates adoption and use for companies already familiar with tools like Office 365. The flexibility of the platform is another strong point, allowing customizations that adapt to the specific needs of each business
Despite its numerous advantages, it has some aspects that could be improved. From my perspective, the initial learning curve can be steep, especially for users unfamiliar with the Microsoft ecosystem. This can make it difficult for our marketing efforts when trying to convince potential customers of its ease of use. Another weak point is cost, which can be prohibitive for small businesses, limiting our target market

I would create quotes and invoices using D365 BC. It is tedious, cumbersome, and nowhere near as clean, quick, and easy as Salesforce. I thought Salesforce was bad until I was introduced to Business Central and then quickly realized how much better I had it.
Things could be done in it's own silo without interfering with regular Dynamics 365.
Everything else. It was beyond cumbersome to just create a quote or invoice for a customer, and Salesforce combines everything into one, easier system. I think management at Prestige Medical Imaging went with it just because it was cheaper, but it wastes so much time.

We use the collections module, sales, purchasing, service cost, job cost, subcontractor module, and more. We use purchase orders and 3 way matching and use dynamics for a wide range of use.
You can easily adjust titles to be in red or have distinctive features to stand out, but it is not always easy to do on the financial module and you cannot do it when using features like smartlist.
The inability to generate certain reports (you have to set them up yourself) which can be VERY time consuming.

I have enjoyed working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central ,it's easy to use and the APIs which have made it easier to customize it with our needs .The customer support is amazing both on call and in person.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 business central is a very great product , it's easy to use since it has a great user interface .The deployment is easy and took a very short time .It has inpremises and cloud based functionality which has enabled work flexibility.
The initial purchasing cost is relatively high mostly to the small enterprises. The system keeps on freezing whereby delaying our customers.

I've evaluated NAV for other roles and now I have been using the product I am convinced that it is a very powerful product when configured correctly. It has options for many roles and the ability to configure the system exists but is limited by design.
Very high cost support and difficult nature of upgrades is a real turn off. Each version upgrade is treated as a new deployment. Lacks the ability to make even the most basic changes without partner assistance or developer licence. While the product has a lot of potential I would be reluctant to upgrade an old version as I feel there are other products out there which can do the same job with a much more reasonable price tag. Value for money is the main reason I have marked this application down.

Terrible. I have been used at least 3 other systems and all of the others have been more intuitive. This product is a mess. Worst decision we have made with our startup is selecting this software.
It is not a bad looking interface. That is the only positive thing I can say about this software.
The software is not at all intuitive, very little is possible to do out of the box, everything requires expensive consultant time to set up, and even simple reports are hard to generate. Way, way too complicated to do basic things. It leaves us with little functional reporting and a lot of frustrating headaches. By the time you realize you have made a mistake implementing its way too late.

Integration with outlook is the best. No more downloading and sending separate emails. I also liked the fact that it comes with a BI tool for reporting, this was a crisis on Dynamics Navision 2009. The price for the product is very reasonable for small and bigger companies.
Difficult to get support from the partners who implemented.

MS Dynamics is pretty user-friendly considering the other CRM products in the market. It's got a pretty good coverage in terms of customer engagement process. Right from Presales interaction center to post sales Services, it covers most processes. Microsoft as a vendor is placed well to offer this as a cloud offering as its also owns Azzure MS Dynamics does have a mobile app for Apple devices which is pretty useful and easy to use. That helps in user adoption on field. The support provided by MS is good, but gets activated only when situation gets into emergency mode.
The comercials could have been more affordable. I would have loved more seamless integration between Dynamics and Navision as both are from the same family. Easy to deploy mobile applications for Andriod phone is something which would have been really useful

1. Like the excel function on NAV screen where you can dump out any info onto excel for external reporting. 2. Like the ability to setup permissions on record level. for example, can setup permissions where a user can see Purchase invoices for a particular vendor. 3.
1. Doesn't have a good approval chain process for purchasing documents. Very linear approach based on amount. 2. Microsoft customer support comes at a price and even with that they dont touch any customized function and ask you to get back to partner for fix

Since our upgrade from NAV 4.0 to the cloud based NAV 2009 R2 solution our business changed a lot. Despite a relatively high fluctuation of employees and also sales our ERP solution has never been a concern. As we outsourced almost all our hardware to the cloud we didn't suffer from high fix cost when our business didn't go as expected and the Albrecht Solutions NAV 2009 in the cloud proves it's value...

It is integration & automation really fulfills the business need. Real-time access to business information is very pivotal & helpful for modern-day business for improving operations & efficiency. It is customs services capability is great.
Information access & transactional traceability is quite useful in improving business operations & its growth. The price of this software is also reasonable & its CRM application is phenomenal.
Its interface is difficult to use & takes time to learn. & customers support also needs to be improved.
