The Ashcom MaintiMizer Web Edition is a flexible web-based CMMS for work maintenance and management with modules that correspond to frequently-used functions that help control costs, improve quality, and increase productivity. MaintiMizer is adaptable to any organization, large or small, and is completely web-based meaning no workstation installation is necessary.

MaintiMizer has a simple, user-friendly interface with drop down menus and search fields to help users get through work more efficiently. The main module functions are: vendor/purchase order, preventive maintenance/equipment, inventory, work order, and timecard. The MaintiMizer homepage displays current stats for the week, including which parts are below minimum or how many PMs are overdue. The weekly schedule workup displays work orders that have been scheduled for the upcoming week, and the daily schedule workup shows what each employee has scheduled for the day.

MaintiMizer generates a variety of preset reports including craft hour/cost, work order analysis, material/labor costs, backlog reviews and failure analysis. Standard work order reports are also easily generated and printed. Additionally, users can manage maintenance schedules and tasks, as well as assets, inventory and purchase orders.

MaintiMizer integrates seamlessly with popular enterprise-wide systems like SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or Primax. Users can securely access their data from any internet enable device or location.

good tracking and reminder system.

for this whole 2 years experience with maintimizer software, i find it is value for money versus before, we having a lot of spare part tracking issue example where does the part went to and untraceable machine history to help us defining machine capability. Now we are just following the PM being set earlier and resolving high occurrence machine issue, i seem our machine monthly breakdown record had drop to half comparing to passed.

Pros

The scheduled PM work order generation.

Cons

difficult to grouping the passed PM and work order, it will be great is all the data can be form out a report and list or graph so we able to do analysis discussion easily.

Ease of use is exceptional

We have struggled to maintain a paper system for years. Once we received Maintimizer we went to work entering all of the necessary information which was very easy to do. I am now able to automatically generate all of the PM processes for the machinery. The SOP info is in with all of the PM's as well which make the job so much easier.

Lost without MaintiMizer

We have been using MaintiMizer for over 5 years. We absolutely love the software and customer support. The software has amazing features that really make doing my job easy. We love that we can do more than just Inventory Maintaining in the software. We use PM Plan, Equipment Tracking, Input Work Orders, Purchase Orders / Requisitions, Key Inventory, Invoicing and more.

Pros

I love how many different types of things you can do in the software other than just Inventory Management.

Cons

Query Builders.They are helpful and awesome but difficult to use if unfamiliar. It is pretty amazing that you can make any report you desire.

Nice system for basic maintenance organizations

MaintiMizer is an overall good system. Allows for parts tracking, POR and Purchase Orders, Time tracking, and more. It does however rely heavily on user input and does not have a lot of automation needed in more robust, predictive environments.

Pros

Customizable dashboard, parts rooms and the ability to connect inventory to work orders

Cons

Customization and expanding capabilities is limited and expensive. Feels like an old system.

Maintimizer seems like it could be a highly effective software tool for scheduling routine maintenance and also for predicting future break downs on machines. If the software is used correctly it can make the job of the maintenance technician a lot easier. The one feature that I am not sure it has as our company does not use it is if parts can be added to a work order. This would allow for parts tracking, but would only work if the parts are set up in a computer system which we do not have.

I feel as though this product is only as good as it's user. If you are going to create work orders, schedules, preventative maintenance, and use it to review and create a timeline then it's a good platform for planning ahead and finding flaws. But if it's not used in that way, it just seems like a place to put information to never be seen again.

Very long term

I have been using maintimizer since 1999 , I would be your best salesman as I have been using maintimizer for 17yrs (used a competitor product for a time but actually came backto maintimizer which should speak volumes on how good the maintenence tracking and inventory etc. Is )

Pros

Hard to pick what part I like the best, but I would say its completeness it seems that most of anything has been thought of and it's easy to use

Cons

Have a limited number of logins for my compan ( this is understood and agreed )my point is that I have a PC which would be my seat I also have two tablets I am the same person logged into doth so that counts as 2, I believe wholeheartedly this should be counted as one seat that I am only using one person this seat, but I understand it is a small point
