Pros and cons

Excel tables took so much of our time, and it was unreal to monitor spends effectively. We are thrilled with the results of partnering with Precoro.
It has good budgeting functionality and flexible approval which helped us to configure our specific process. I like that everything is in the cloud and you are not buried under the pile of paper.
Easy to implement, clear interface, perfect, custom reporting capabilities, great customer support.
Unable to tie in with accounting software, however no platforms we looked at couldn't tie in with our accounting systems due to it's limitation and not Precoro.
Each lacked some functionality - someone has no inventory, someone - multicurrency. We've chosen Precoro because they cover all requests.
Before meeting with Precoro, I always a self-controlled process of my company purchases. It takes a lot of time and I'm tired.

more effective overall procurement process

Pros

Precoro mobile web version and approval from email allow me to do it from everywhere. In addition, we now know in real-time how much we're spending on each budget.l In just a few weeks using precoro we saw tremendous improvement in our process, especially around budgets and approvals. We use Quickbooks for accounting but it was a struggle because we didn't know how much was left in a specific budget and if it's okay to approve a request or not. It wasn't very easy for us. We were looking for many different solutions, but many services were unfriendly or didn't have all the functionality we needed. I'm so happy that we've found an excellent automated, integrated QB solution - Precoro!

Cons

We have 2 people who make PO and separately approvers. They constantly need to revise PO and increase the amount through tolerance rate for receiving. It is very often the case that one creator is hired, and another can do it. but he hasn't a revised button because he is not in the approval flow.

Great experience with the software

Pros

I work in a global software company and we work with more than 70 suppliers. It became necessary to buy good software for the procurement process. There were a lot of different companies on the trial, and the last one was the Precoro, which was chosen as a result. There wasn’t necessarily onboarding, we sut everything up and everyone understands how to use it. During this trial, my team simulated the process with real data for a month. As a result, we created 300+ ROs and invoices. We have been using it for more than a month now, everyone is satisfied, the process is set up, no complaints. Now, the approval process is by phone/computer and there is no need to come for signatures. It is convenient to keep all suppliers in 1 system and send them POs so fast as never before!

Cons

It’s not con, but it would be better to see the budget total in the invoice custom report.

Great software to streamline procurement process!

Ease of use and implementation, the visibility it creates within the procurement process, and the overall functionality

Cons

Lacking additional inventory features that are necessary for our business. Also, it would be nice if it could marry up with our accounting software.

The best of its kind

We didn't control POs at all, and it was very manual. Precoro is a great procurement software for making requests, approving them, raising orders, and getting analytics on them. We got everything we were looking for, and we can rely on Precoro due to its excellent quality and support. I recommend these guys for all companies which want to simplify the purchasing process and get a more transparent budget analysis

Pros

1. A beneficial visual representation of the budget information. 2.User-friendly design and best form of supply chain digitization. 3.Reference each PO by looking it up in the search box by PO number.

Cons

Sometimes not all text is displayed. Although when I loaded information, the system saved all I entered. It would be better to show restrictions on the number of entered characters, like '0/250', so that you can immediately see how many characters are left.

Individual approach to each customer

Pros

Problem #1 solved by Precoro is the difficulty of tracking the budget in real-time. With Precoro, it became possible to make it work well. Problem #2 - manual entering of information in Quickbooks. This accounting system is well, but manual entry took time. Integration was a perfect decision for us. Problem #3 - difficult to track the status of the approval. Automatic changing of status after opening mail and clicking one approval button in Precoro is perfect for us. And Precoro’s Customer Success Team is excellent. I’m not sure that big companies provide the type of individual support that Precoro does. For these reasons and many more, I suggest Precoro over and against any larger SAAS company.

Cons

In the PO report, there are fields in which it is difficult to orient what it concerns in general info. But it's a minor con. We're satisfied with all the functionality.

My recommendation for any business

The whole process was managed through excel. We had 300-500 PO/ month and 3 procurement managers. The main problem was that it was very difficult to track the process in excel and communicate with the requesters (give an update on the status of their request) and the office manager (the person who receives the goods). Precoro - is the solution to problems we had. We forgot about excel and the lack of time for our procurement managers. That’s much better to optimize the process through this software than hire more employees.

Pros

We like automatically updating statutes and simplifying communication between requesters and the office manager. I noticed reducing the processing time for the request. It was about 2-3 days, now - usually not more than 20 minutes. Their customer support team is brilliant! [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] closely goes through all questions we have and always listens to our needs.

Cons

Within the company, PR as a document is essential. We print them, sign them, seal them, keep them. It is necessary for us to have a logo on the PR.

GREAT VALUE FOR REASONABLE COST

Precoro exceeded all our expectations. They helped us to set up an approval workflow, track budgets, work with product catalogs and ordering. Now we have more functions than we planned to have with a new tool.

Pros

1 - Instant reports, which help to get insights and make better decisions. Our financial department is delighted and thankful for simplifying analytical work. 2 - We were glad of the ability to add multiple currencies, offices to 1 account. 3 - We like their last update about Custom Fields for Documents. You can change them in Budgets, even when used in documents, and it won’t affect created documents. Love their permanent updates! 4 - Now, almost all invoices are processed electronically.

Cons

Nothing important. I'm satisfied with the results.

The easy utilizing system combined with getting spend under management so fast

One of the great things about Precoro coming onboard at ……….. was the ability to offer a solution to get spend under management immediately. The adoption has been phenomenal with respect to people being able to utilize the system with little or no training

Pros

Precoro is a very business-friendly system and easy to use. It cuts down on the time that it takes to get a requisition approved and get the order into the system.

Cons

I’m not sure if it’s a con but Precoro didn't have a direct connection with Acumatica so we needed to set it up through their API

Cons

Unfortunately it is not possible to disable unused items in counters. But I believe, this will be solved soon.

Everything works great but needs some improvements

it was problematic to have a well-established process with manual invoicing, payments, and reconciliation. that's why it was essential for us to move on from time-consuming manual processes and to put the right controls in place for further work. moreover, now we can avoid errors and potential fraud, which was possible with manual data entering data. the system works as we expected, and it was only a few minor problems.

Cons

we had troubles with invoices. there were cases when we needed to make a prepayment and only then send a huge purchase order to the supplier. then the invoice is created and it's fully paid. in precoro when there is a payment, nothing can be changed and can not be controlled - is the invoice genuine or not.

Precoro is just what Orkidstudio Ltd needed!

Precoro has been very helpful with budget tracking; we are able to tell at any one time the status of any one budget thus make solid and on time decisions. Supplier management has also been a plus, its possible on a click of a button to tell the status of supplier accounts, even more helpful with credit accounts - reporting on aged creditors is more accurate and cash-flow projections easier to project. The 3 way document match of the PO, Goods Received Note and the Supplier Invoice has also reduced errors at the Accounts Payable desk. Paper-printing has been reduced by a huge margin, Approvals done not only promptly but accurately. It is definite we are a more efficient Supply Chain team since we logged onto Precoro! Thankyou!

Pros

Precoro offers a start to end procurement solution - its a software that manages our inventory catalogue, through which user departments would log in their purchase requests, prompt approvals online both at Purchase request and Purchase Order level, monitor budgets, and monitor receipt of goods by user departments and invoices for suppliers by the Accounts Payable department. It has a supplier management module which has proved helpful most especially with management of supplier credit accounts.

Cons

We are yet to figure out the integration of the software with Quickbooks online to ensure a seamless functionality of the software across the board for the Procurement and Finance teams.

I love that the system can be used also from mobile.easy to work when away from a computer

As the procurement manager I was probably the first user in our conpany. The system is easy to use and well designed. We had some requests that Olena from Precoro and her team developed and added quickly. In general customer service is so helpful . Now as the admin of the system i understand it even better snd i handle the users requests and i can honestly say it is a really great system.

Cons

No SAP integration but Precoro is working on this now and soon we will have this as well.

Nice Program to use

So far, we are pleased with the program. We are glad that it help improve our work efficiency.

Pros

Precoro is easy to start with good level of control program to use. Our company use it to manage our purchasing. It ease the process, also reduce the time of communication between team members as everyone can log in to see the current status of our order. We also like it that be able to send PO to our suppliers direct from the system. It saved a lot of time for our order desk.

Cons

If some of the pop-up windows can be reduced, that would be better. We found that extra steps to get to finish up an order can be removed.

A lot of advantages to use Precoro

Pros

Precoro completely covers our purchasing process, 100%. For example, there was no possibility to limit who can change suppliers' info. The problem was solved and got even more than expected. After the demo, we realized that Precoro has a lot more approval capabilities compared with similar services. There are approvals on locations, departments, custom fields, and you can set up this process step-by-step as you need. Especially I liked the integration with QBO and the customization of user roles. Thanks to Precoro, we improved a PR-PO creation and approval system.

Cons

We had one problem - there wasn’t the ability to delete data in supplier management configurations if they have not been used anywhere else. But the Precoro team considered our issue, and the next update solved it. That’s perfect when a company listens to customer’s needs.

Spray Agro started with a mix of solutions for managing procurement. We had several systems, but they were disjointed and didn’t allow for a comprehensive view of spend or enforce compliance. We still lacked overall business spend data and information around contracts to make strategic decisions quickly. We chose Precoro for its user-centric nature. We wanted adoption to be easy for employees, so decision-makers could quickly realize the benefits of increased visibility. Precoro’s efficient solution plus hard work from our team has resulted in significant time savings. The P.R. to P.O. process now takes less than a day. We’ve really seen the powerful benefits of information flowing seamlessly end-to-end on the platform.

It took time to connect our accounting software to Precoro through open API, we thought it would be easier on our side

Very helpful software, easy to use

Pros

We didn't have an ordering system before and when we received invoices, the finance department always had to contact the purchaser to allocate the costs correctly.Now we have all the PO's in Precoro, we can see how the costs need to be allocated, the approval process is automated and the invoices can be matched with the PO. The system is easy to use, the team is constantly working on improvements and the customer support team is very supportive and very kind.

Cons

The process for PO's for service contracts is not yet optimal, but I know that implementation is being worked on. PDF (uploaded contracts or invoices) must always be downloaded before you can view them. It would be faster and easier if the PDF would open directly in the browser.

My overall experience has been pleasant. Precoro works the way our organization needs and allows us to accomplish our daily tasks with ease.

Pros

What we enjoy most is the ease of use and intuitive nature of the software. You can easily navigate to any screen and accomplish you tasks without much strain looking for the options to select.

Overall using precoro makes procure item easier and simple. It really helps in our daily use. They also have a decent reporting. , though need some more report option. Overall good.

Pros

The user interface in this system is very easy and comfortable to use for the users. They have a proper workflow in requesting items, inventory, up to payment in finance

Cons

Some of the features are not flexible enough and need some improvements. For example in choosing & selecting vendor, i think it should be more option. Also i think in the product management, it would be easy if 1 item can connect to 3-5 vendors. There's some bugs here and there that need to be fixed and upgraded.

New level of control

We created PRs on an excel form or in a word document. The problem was that some of these PRs could be unnoticed for a few months. And there wasn't a way to track anything. Of course, having departments and dedicated budgets means having controls. But earlier, we did not have a streamlined process by each department like now. Custom fields for departments, products, services, and categories you want - a perfect solution for us.

Pros

approval process, report section, reasonable price, 3-way-matching, fast onboarding process

Cons

Today when a PO is approved, you can see two dates at the top of the screen: Creation Date and Delivery Date. It would be better to add the Approved Date, the date the PO was first approved and sent to the vendor.

Most of all, I like multicurrency, inventory and complex processes. During the onboarding process, we didn't need any help (max - 1-2 times). This is an indicator of good user interface, which is comprehensible for our 6 users of Precoro.

Nothing to figure out yet. The company is continuously adding new features, which makes works simpler.
