Projektron BCS hilft uns beim Erreichen unserer operativen Ziele und wir sind trotz bestehender Schwächen zufrieden. Gerade die letzten Releases haben gezeigt, dass nun auch Themen wie Bedienbarkeit und User-Experience in den Fokus genommen werden.
Grundsätzlich ist es klasse, dass BCS so viele Themenbereiche vereint und gut miteinander verknüpft. Die Planungsfunktionen auf Projektebene sind ausgereift und helfen dabei den Überblick zu behalten. Die Flut an Möglichkeiten ist dabei Fluch und Segen zugleich, denn erwartungsgemäß leidet die Bedienbarkeit durch die lange Liste an Möglichkeiten. Die Dokumentation ist vorbildlich, hat aber das gleiche Problem.
Am wenigsten gefällt uns die teilweise recht angestaubte Bedienbarkeit. Das geht schon beim Konzept von "neuen Fenstern" statt In-App-Fenstern los, welches für aktuelle Web-Apps nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist. Auch auf Administrationsseite (speziell beim Anpassen von Eingabemasken und Ansichten) gibt es Nachholbedarf. Grundsätzlich merkt man, dass die Anwendung historisch gewachsen ist – sowohl bei UI/UX als auch modernen Schnittstellendefinitionen (bspw. REST API). Wir freuen uns, dass diese Themen bei Projektron mittlerweile einen höheren Stellenwert einnehmen und aktiv daran gearbeitet wird, BCS zu modernisieren.

Projektron BCS offers a great customer benefit and supports our teams with a lot of features. It supports agile Methodologies with Scrum and Kanban, traditional Methodologies with Resource-,Time-, Risk- and Quality Management and allows us to combine both Methodologies for hybrid project management based on product development with compliance requirements and embedded systems. We can choose for each...
Projektron BCS is a very powerful tool with many features, so that the user can be overwhelmed in the beginning. The tool options allow to define default views for specific user groups. Since the feature development is customer-driven they have a lot of features and ideas in the pipeline which can result in some waiting time for a specific feature (complaining on a high comfort level).

Der Gesamteindruck ist hervorragend. Projektron ist wirklich an unseren Bedürfnissen bezüglich der Software interessiert und bestrebt, ihre BCS so einzurichten, dass sie unsere Anforderungen ideal abbildet. Die mächtige Software selbst gibt das durchaus her. Auch nach mehreren Monaten der Nutzung erschließen sich mir fast täglich Bereiche und Funktionalitäten, die ich bisher nicht kannte von denen so manche durchaus sinnvoll für uns ist. Der Eindruck von Software, Support und Unternehmen ist tadellos!
Der Funktionsumfang ist schlichtweg gigantisch und erschließt sich zu Beginn noch gar nicht vollständig, sondern erst nach und nach im täglichen Gebrauch. BCS ist nicht nur Projektmanagement, Projektplanung und Projektcontrolling, sondern bringt gleich Zeiterfassungssystem, Dokumentenmanagement, CRM und vieles mehr mit. Die Einrichtung erfolgte reibungslos und flott. Die Schulungen und der Support lassen bisher keine Wünsche offen.
Die Optik wirkt zunächst etwas altbacken und durchaus Geschmackssache. Das liegt nicht zuletzt aber vor allem an der schieren Fülle von Funktionen und Ansichten und der inzwischen langen Geschichte der Software. Für Anfänger wirkt manches also zunächst etwas unübersichtlich. Dank Schulungen und dem täglichen Gebrauch erschließen sich Klickpfade etc. aber schneller als zunächst vermutet. Man sieht an den letzten Releases aber deutlich, dass sich im Bereich Usability und GUI einiges tut bei Projektron BCS.

- the great complexity means that the software is not always easy to use - the continuous development by the manufacturer is strongly driven by the customers so that not all innovations are implemented uniformly as standard everywhere in the system
