Great potential

When I reach out to tech support I have to repeatedly defend and support my complaints until someone believes me and then gets someone to look into it. The interface is not as user friendly as I had believed it was going to be, without some computer language skills the errors are impossible to decipher.

Pros

Asset management and reported deficiencies are fantastic for both customer service and generating future revenue.

Cons

Limited capabilities in invoicing, manually have to add sales taxes to each transaction, cannot change or alter item description.

There isn't much that ServiceTrade doesn't do from parts tracking, time tracking, dispatching, invoicing, quoting, reporting, and more.

Pros

Customer service, intuitiveness, minuscule learning curve, integrations, design, and responsiveness.

This is our 3rd go around with Field service software and up until this point I truly did not feel we would find something that would work in our industry.

Pros

Ability to provide updates and job work orders/invoices to customers without any duplication using service link is a great feature.

Cons

I wish there was better reporting on technician hours as a separate report.

The flexibility of managing Technicians in the field and the backend Office Users; from Dispatching, Scheduling, Invoicing, Forms, and Data.

Cons

Also, when updating the PDF Forms, which is necessary from time to time, we must re-load the entire library section where the form is loaded so it will compile in the appropriate order in the forms package.

The comment section is very useful for field technicians to keep track of the trends at any customer site.

Pros

It also make turn around time to send out quotes 10 times faster as the deficiency section is real time, even before a tech leaves a site.

Cons

The ability to create quotes at the technician level would be great. A database of a companies real time pricing, customer discounts, and any item a tech could need at the techs fingertips would be awesome. The customer could not only create quotes, but get a customer signature accepting or denying the quote right on site, or emailed for review. Also integrating the emails of the AHJs in the specific customer areas can alert the AHJ to vital deficiencies, in which they can kinda lean on the customers to get repairs done faster, which could possibly give the customer less time to shop around.

We reviewed roughly 55 field service applications and ServiceTrade was clearly the best and easy choice.

Pros

ServiceTrade is easy to use with lots of forward thinking features, integrations and potential.

Cons

I do wish it was stronger with quoting and customer management however, it was not made for that and has prebuilt integrations to CRM.

Improved production time, better communication with customer, time saved from rewriting reports, flexibility in schedule and ability to pick up past due jobs.

Pros

What I like most about this software is the ability to better serve customers through improved description and pictures of deficiencies and communication overall through the comment feature. It greatly improves time and can make any business a pro in the service industry!

Cons

What I like least about this software is its compatibility with pdf programs. Service trade's link with Adobe and xodo still has a couple bugs.

Great scheduling benefits and the ability to know in real time where all your techs are and we can make decisions accordingly.

Pros

It has helped us an extreme amount with invoicing jobs because we can clearly show when our techs are checked into jobs.

Cons

Sometimes there is a little bit of lag when doing invoicing. When doing multiple invoices at one time there can be a delay as it uploads to the actual invoice screen.

Service Trade allows us to keep track of all of our jobs in real time. If a tech takes a picture, completes job paperwork, or finds a deficiency with a piece of equipment, we have that information immediately.

Not going to office being to get started earlier

Pros

Ease of use the speed of which my uploads ,are once I enter my upload I'm done .I like being to see my schedule on my phone or tablet and not having to go to the office to pick up or deliver reports and I can clock in and out and track my time it's great.

Cons

Once I upload I can not go back and make changes or correction even if I have not closed the job I have to create another report and email office of changes made be still it is a great program
