Shortcut overview

What is Shortcut?

Built specifically for software development teams, Shortcut is a cloud-based project management platform for collaboratively supporting the full planning, build, and launch cycle. Scalable to cater for non-profits right up to Enterprise-level with variable subscription pricing packages, Shortcut also promises robust, out-of-the-box integration options for the likes of GitHub, GitLab and Slack, with API access for developing custom workflow automations. The UI allows users to create a “Story” for describing any task, job, feature or build, before defining “Objectives” and “Epics” for goal-based progression. Integration rating: 4.5 (18)

The Slack / Shortcut integration allows me to see updates to tickets my team is working on alongside other conversations. It also allows us to easily turn conversations where a chore is requested or a bug is revealed into a Shortcut ticket to work on later

I get notifications when people comment on my cards or tag me. That’s about all I use it for, so I may not even be using it to its full potential.

Love how I can get notifications when I get tagged so I don't need to check the board throughout the day

My cards will automatically link to my github branches given they have the proper suffix. They’ll also link to my PRs and follow their status.
