Sevocity overview

What is Sevocity?

Sevocity is an ONC-certified, cloud-based EHR and practice management platform for independent and group medical practices. The platform is cloud-hosted with no local server installation required. Updates deploy automatically, keeping every practice on the current certified version without scheduled downtime.

Clinical Tools and Workflow

Provider-level configuration is a core architectural feature. Each clinician maintains their own template library and preferences independently of other providers in the practice. Changes take effect immediately without administrative intervention or support requests, with trainers available.

Clinical functionality includes ePrescribing with EPCS, E&M coding with ICD-10 support, customizable flowsheets, specialty-specific templates, HL7 lab and imaging result delivery, national lab interface for direct connectivity, referral and scheduling interfaces, PDMP integration, patient portal with secure messaging and record access, and MIPS quality reporting.

AI ambient listening integrates with the encounter workflow, capturing structured clinical notes during the visit and reducing post-visit documentation time.

Practice Management — Sevocity Premier

Sevocity Premier, EHR + Practice Management, adds a fully integrated practice management and revenue cycle layer. Features include real-time insurance eligibility verification, electronic claims submission, real-time claim status tracking, ERA auto-payment posting, online patient payments, patient self-scheduling, appointment scheduling and reminders, recall reminders, patient registration eForms, eStatements, print and mail statement processing, patient responsibility estimator, CPT code lookup, time clock, and A/R, revenue, and collection reporting.

Integrations

Sevocity supports HL7 lab and imaging integrations, national lab direct connectivity, secure direct messaging, referral and scheduling interfaces, PDMP connectivity, eFax integration, telehealth video visits, and care coordination platform integration.

Security and Compliance

Sevocity is ONC-certified and HIPAA-compliant. EPCS prescribing meets DEA requirements for electronic controlled substance prescribing. Direct messaging operates within established secure clinical communication standards. Cloud infrastructure is maintained with automatic security updates. No patient data is stored locally on user devices.

Deployment/Support
