Faster commission calculation, all sales information in one location, user-friendly analytics reporting

Some limitations on reporting, payroll reports can be better, ability to automatically calculate batches

Great, we use as a tool for sharing commission statements

Pros

Ease of use and ability to share information with reps easily. Monthly statements are no longer manual and it allows corrections prior to payments.

Cons

Difficult to integrate with other systems such as Salesforce, where we get our sales data from.

Ease of automating and reduction of manual calculations of commissions.

Pros

Ability to automate data transfers from your ERP/CRM systems to Incent and data validations/calculations using DELTA without the use of manual uploads using the Excel Uploads.

Cons

Cons: 1. Analytics: A non-intuitive tool for regular users and need a solid understanding of your data in order to build reports that can be used by administrators and sales representatives. 2.

Xactly has been a great tool for our company to automate our sales commission process.

The automation of the calculation process and the ability for the sales team to review their calculations.

Pros

The ability to load in our sales data and have the calculations completed in minutes each month has cut down on the manual time it takes to calculate commissions.

Cons

There are a number of different plans, rules, tables, etc that you have to setup for the calculation to work and then if you need to make adjustments you have to track back through all of these in order to understand what to change.

Tight link to SFDC and can take Sales Teams away from tracking incentives on their own.

Cons

Might be our set up but loading data isn't easy and when you get errors, there is not real help as to why it won't accept the record.

Pros

It's a powerful app for managing sales performance and commissions and generating reports on sales and sales staff.

Cons

Implementation of the Xactly software wasn't the easiest thing, but we got through it, and it's up and running now.

No more excel and inaccurate data. Data pulls straight from salesforce.

Pros

Ease of use for our field reps: dashboards and reporting self service so that they can see their commission real time. Our field reps also really like the estimator on their opportunities.

Cons

Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce...instead we had to build them in Xactly for our reps to access in the application, this adds another application we had to train our reps on.

Great tool for a small to medium sized business

Express integrates fully with salesforce.com and it is great that our reps have the ability to view their commission statements in real-time without relying on excel spreadsheets.

Pros

Fully integrates with Salesforce.com, eliminates the margin for human error, real-time reporting, easy to manage users and plans, much quicker than manually calculating commissions.

Cons

Page load times can be long and system sometimes errors out when calculating.

When our comp plans became too complicated to manage through excel spreadsheets we decided to evaluate apps that would integrate with Salesforce.com Xactly Express met all our requirements, integration with SFDC, ability to manage complex plans and 360 views for Sales Team and Managers.

Cons

We direct them towards our analytics dashboards. 99% virtually all pods are turned off or hidden to avoid Incent from confusing the sales rep.

Pros

The process for loading data and running the calculations saves us a lot of time.

Cons

It can be hard to setup dashboards and custom views with the right filters to be able to see the slices of data you need.

Pros

Once implemented and running smooth, calculations, reporting and maintenance are all a breeze.

Cons

The only con i have encountered is the initial set up and building of rules. Once that's all set, there are really no issues.

It offers lot of functions and customization's required to design complicated commission plans and calculate commissions.

Cons

Similarly, Analytics refresh starts only after every 2 hours (even hours), which is quite a long wait.
