What is Carrd?
Carrd is a cloud-based platform that enables businesses to build one-page landing pages, profiles, portfolios, forms or websites. Features include password management, cloning, scroll points, multimedia support, mobile optimization, and custom fields.
The application includes a builder module, Canvas, which lets designing teams preview the current status of sites, arrange elements, and set a color, gradient, or image for the background. Users can prepare a multi-page appearance for sites using section functionality, which helps divide the site into named pages and apply links between them. Carrd also allows IT professionals to embed custom HTML, JavaScript, and CSS codes to anywhere on the site.
Developers can publish sites to custom domains and subdomains, add name along with host record to target IPs, and create redirects to a specific section or external URL. Users can also modify site languages and title or description while previewing images from the dashboard. Carrd helps designers create custom templates to generate similar sites, add meta tags, and change site images shared across social platforms.
