Hippo Video is a cloud-based video management software which allows users to capture, edit, and share video, audio, and screen recordings. The platform can be used to create customer testimonials, how-to guides, explainer videos, training content, and more.
Hippo Video allows users to record videos through a web launcher and extension for Google Chrome, with options for webcam, audio, and screen recording. Guest recording links can be shared with anyone, enabling the creation of videos by non-users. Videos can also be imported into Hippo Video from other systems for editing. The quick editing tools allow users to trim, cut, crop, and annotate videos, while with the pro editing tools, users can add any number of background music or narration tracks, adjust clip settings, and attach introduction and end cards.
Videos can be exported from Hippo Video to YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, and Google Classroom, and added to support tickets through integrations with Zendesk and Freshdesk. Password protection allows users to control who can access their shared videos, and expiration dates can be added to shared video links. Real-time analytics give users insight into number of views and engagement with videos.
