Q. What is Instagantt used for?
Instagantt is an online application designed to help teams create and manage projects using Gantt charts. The tool is available for existing Asana users or as a standalone platform. Users have the ability to collaborate and share charts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency throughout the project lifecycle. Key features include a drag and drop interface, dependency management, collaboration tools such as commenting, milestone tracking, tasks/sub-tasks, workload management, and detailed progress tracking. If a chart needs to be added to a presentation, Instagantt offers the ability to export them as Excel Spreadsheets, Google Sheets, or images. In order to visualize project plans, users can track and schedule changes or delays by creating baselines. Additional functionality enables users to customize the user interface, such as the color of the bars on the chart, as well as set up notifications to alert all team members when necessary. Also, managers can easily view due dates and percent-complete reports of all tasks and sub-tasks at-a-glance on the project overview.
