Very Happy with CR 

I really value this product. This is now my 8th year, and I can't imagine working in an ABA environment without it. 

Love Central Reach

Overall this software is a mess from an accounting perspective. Reporting is seldom consistent and it is incredibly difficult to tie out Central Reach to an accounting system like Quickbooks that it cannot integrate with directly. Central Reach is great for billing from what I understand but if you plan to implement this software please be prepared for your accounting team to face challenges with using it.

Great for billing, terrible for accounting

My company uses Central Reach both on the billing and payroll/time tracking side. Overall, I am not a fan of this software and we are looking to move our business elsewhere in the near future. However, while my business has outgrown Central Reach, other small companies may find it's capabilities just right for them. 

Personally, not a fan.

Customer support is horrible. The information they give you is misleading which is very costly.

Central reach for an ABA company

This is very handy and convenient. I dont have to worry about much other than focusing on my client and running trials. It can take a while to get use to. There is a ticket section to get assistance from the IT team for Central Reach but it takes a while to get a response to your ticket. Most thing HR could help me with. It also took a lot longer to get the flow of the trials without paper. You can only see 2-3 trials on the screen at once, so there is a lot of scrolling if your client has many trials. During this time of trying to find the trial you are working on, your client has now eloped. It's a balancing act, but it should only take a few weeks to find your groove. 

Central Reach as a Behavioral Therapist

I use Central Reach every day as an RBT to gather data on my clients and help them reach their behavioral goals. I like the data-gathering interface because it allows me to quickly put in data so I can stay in the moment with my kiddo.

Gets Job Done but Could be More User Friendly

It is great to be able to connect and view other employee schedules, as well as client information that is pertinent to my job requirements. I love being able to schedule and adjust appointments for clients as well as being able to update programs and target goals for a client so that my team can know what we need to work on and focus on while they are with a client.

Kathy:                                                 Hi, my name is Kathy. And I'm the office administrator for a behavioral health company, and I give CentralReach of five. We researched a few different companies early on and actually considered AccuPoint and Catalyst, were the only two I can actually remember the name. We didn't go with them because they weren't comprehensive companies, you had to use one with the other. I believe they were emerging at the time and it just was too new, too risky to try to learn along with them evolving. So we actually didn't even try them. I just did the research and walked away when we found a better option.
                                                       We chose CentralReach because it wasn't known name, it was one that kept coming up in conversations. And so they have been around a while to have a reputation and that reputation was good. So that encouraged us to pursue and learn more about them. I liked the fact that CentralReach was created by BCBAs, meaning they understand what is needed to work in the ABA world, and they created a system based on personal knowledge not just on industry teaching. We liked the comprehensive aspect of CentralReach and includes all of the things you need to run a business. We're new, starting out, and small, and so we needed something that covered all the bases. I didn't want to have 15 different things to put together, and so to go to one stop shop with CentralReach was really a plus.
                                                       Onboarding CentralReach into our company was time-consuming. But we were a new company and so we had the time to learn. I had several providers that had worked with CentralReach, which was a big plus. But CentralReach does offer the training for employees. So anybody new coming in, it's easy to sit them in front of a training session and they are familiar with things as they're talked through with the training modules within CentralReach.
                                                       Things I would recommend when considering CentralReach would be to do your research. Investing in a data collection system is a big deal, and you don't want to try and fail and try and fail, you want to pick the right system that works for your company right from the get-go, stick with it, and grow with it. CentralReach is amazing in the fact that they are evolving and growing and so their system gets better and better. Their customer service is wonderful, if you get stuck, you give them a call or you shoot them an email and the responses are quick, accurate, and easy to understand. I just would highly recommend finding somebody that you have a great working relationship with as well as handles all the aspects that you need in your business. If you want one stop shop, I would recommend CentralReach for their billing and their data collection and their automated graphing and the payroll. And just everything is all inclusive and available to use.

The ideal solution for ABA providers

Abby:                                                  Hi, I'm Abby and I'm the owner of a Behavior Therapy Organization and I give CentralReach a five out of five.
                                                       Before using CentralReach, we were using Catalyst for our data collection. We were using a variety of Excel, Google Docs, and other Microsoft products for things like scheduling, billing, revenue cycle management. And we were really just looking for a product that could incorporate all of those components into one and help us to streamline our business.
                                                       We chose CentralReach as an organization because we were really looking for a product that could incorporate all the components of the various software that we were using and put it into one place. It was also really important for us to have a product that we could access online because we were moving from a business structure where we had one central location to where we were trying to operate at multiple places.
                                                       So for us central reach really just fit the bill with that. It allowed us to be able to easily access all of our business documents in one place. It allowed us to be able to schedule people remotely. We have a business structure where we might have someone who works 300 miles from our office. And so we really needed a place where we could schedule people easily, that it flowed well into our billing, and where we could all access all of the information that we really needed on a day to day basis within our business from one central location.
                                                       Integration and onboarding of CentralReach into our organization was somewhat complex. However, their customer service was really willing to go above and beyond to help us to make that possible, and continues to be so today. Every organization has dedicated a specific specialist that is working directly with their organization. They meet with you frequently and really help you to be able to streamline your business processes in through the products that exist in CentralReach, as well as the ones they're developing.
                                                       We've been with central reach for several years now, and we really find that our integration and onboarding process is an ongoing process, both as our organization grows and as CentralReach grows and adds in new services that help to better streamline ADA businesses.
                                                       My recommendation for anyone who is considering CentralReach as their platform for their ADA business is really to lean into your customer service person, CentralReach has done a really great job of the allocating those resources to a business, and they are so valuable. We've really found that having that person go to has streamlined so many processes that would have taken us a lot longer, otherwise in terms of our ability to function without CentralReach, we would not function near as efficiently without it. It really helps to integrate all of those processes that we deal with on a day-to-day basis in the most streamlined way possible.
                                                       The other big recommendation I would have is to really research all of the various functions that CentralReach has, you can use it in a very basic manner. That's pretty easy to implement, but there are so many features that you'll find out about every month when they do a new release that can really help to take those indirect and non-billable times, and really cut those downs so that as a organization or a company, you can work as efficiently as possible.
