Overall, Semper is a great management tool. It is user friendly and even if there is something we do not understand, we can call Semper and we will immediately receive help.

Semper Reservations and Semper conferencing are the core software that runs our Hotel. We very reliant on it as it is user friendly, effective and affordable.

Makes managing properties and rentals so much easier. Nice function for housekeeping and good integration with most booking websites.

Overall it has been a good experience with very little difficulties in user management. I would recommend the software to other resorts without hesitation.

Whenever I have had questions or needed assistance, their knowledgeable and friendly support staff have been prompt in their responses, ensuring that my concerns are addressed promptly.

It is unnecessarily complicated on a lot of functions making it frustratingly unbearable at times.

Considering the features and functionality you get, Semper offers hands-down the best value for money in the hospitality channel management software space.

Commercial Manager

The reporting does not support easy revenue management and analysis. Semper channel manager only connects with limited otas, which is restrictive.

Operations manager

Terminology used not informative ie when looking for a report, it will be difficult to find.

I've used other POS systems and Semper is one of the least user friendly
steps are not simple
does not take into account the pressure from waiters side in processing orders as it takes very long and becomes frustrating to use - wastes time in waiting for simple tasks to be completed (e.g. waiting for the text box to open, merging a table, splitting a table etc.)
No easy to follow User Manual for Semper Conference especially.  It's difficult to understand how to use the various functions, e.g. function sheet etc.  (not activated on our side)

Not user friendly

My experience is limited to POS and Stock Control only.  We do not use the reservation function for our Guesthouse.  Overall, I am happy with the product since it largely does what we need it to do. 

All-in-all, a good functional option

we will make a change to teh docets to include more information as you request. 
I am not sure if you are aware that we have a hosted version where you can log-in at any time and view all tables, sales etc. You can also make change from anywhere. 

Very good and easy system to use, it has so many features that can build the business.

Semper has a built in CRM capability to enable you to build extensive profiles for each guest.

Very good.  Assistance by Semper is also good.

Customer services is easily reachable although I do feel like we shouldn't have to call in so many times for a variety of issues. [sensitive content hidden] is quite amazing and always helpful; her product knowledge range is great and there is no issue she has been unable to help me with. She is empathetic and resourceful. A lot of us on my property actually like speaking to her mostly.
