The seamless integration between the VOIP handsets and mobile app has been great. Call quality has always been clear.

Very pleased with the overall experience, 8x8 is an amazing tool for Contact Center and call-driven interactions, keep in mind you will still need a softphone  software to sync it with.

It is excellent for small businesses who don't want to have a landline physical phone or who like to move around with their laptop and not run to the phone every time it rings.

It has a variety of useful features: record of voice mail messages, send voice messages through email, answer the phone through the app. And it is easy to install, easy to use.

Couple times I had a problem with people who called me in. They told me they could not hear me.

Terrible quality for seemingly no reason. Setting up a new phone is a real task when you have centers in other cities/states.

Especially lately it seems that there have been more and more bugs in the desktop app. Notifications haven't been showing up for call queues on time causing us to miss calls.

The benefits are quite simple. You can have the app downloaded on a device and be mobile while not having to use a cell number.

I haven't had the experience with another vendor to compare but 8x8 has been ideal for my small business throughout the years of using the service.

Horribly unreliable, inconsistent and no one is responding to our emails. The system its self worked okay without the integration but the inaccurate billing is wild to me.

To be fair, I have yet to use 8x8 for meetings or messages, but it has been very helpful with calls and voicemails.

One of the most important business solution the X series provide for us, the lack of a need for an operator.  For a small business this cut down on the cost.

After several back and forth emails with the support team, they tell me to forget about it, I signed an agreement.  I have used 8x8 with a previous company and the service was solid so I thought it would be a good fit here.  It wasn't and the customer service and support was about as bad as it gets.  I understand that they were probably hit with a huge rush of new customers because of work from home, I can attribute that to the delays in getting back to me, but the refusal to not provide a refund or cancel my agreement because of their delayed service is frankly unacceptable.  

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had

Very poor service. Their call center is based in the Philippines and a huge language/sentence structure barrier exists. Every level o support you are transferred to you have to explain yourself multiple multiple times. It is exhaustive and a giant time vacuum. Their administration dashboard is very easy to navigate, but there are 2 to 3 different administration portals that you can access for reporting or analytics, but they contradict. It is almost impossible to figure out individual rep information and the logic in what they display is tied to useless information or information that leads the viewer down the wrong path and can cause a lot of confusion. There is minimal to no support for Mac OS users (we use both Mac and PC) and the versions don't talk to each-other. So our Mac users can not communicate via their chat-ap with our PC users. Overall, its system 'works', but God forbid if anything breaks or you need to expand or anything more complicated than a basic phone ring group needs to be set up. Be prepared to set aside an afternoon at minimum to try and accomplish anything. 

I hope you speak Filipino or Tagalog.

The product is sound and fair but as stated they have a real problem with support.  When things are going well it's great.  However, when you have a business phone down, it makes for a nasty experience.

Easy to use, useful tool.

So we use 8x8 to communicate with patients or with clients that need to contact us, either for issues they're having, to book appointments or anything they need, that is our main point of contact. What I like most about this software is that you can, well, it's really easy to use, it's user friendly.
                                                       And also, you have the option to use it on your desktop, like downloading an app to your computer. You can also use the website without downloading the app. And you also have the option to download the app on your phone, which is really good for when you're not in the office, you don't have access to your computer, or you're on the go and you need to make any calls or get any calls. So what I like the least about this software E is that sometimes when you use the app on your phone, you're going to hear an echo so that might get pretty annoying. And something else is that support is not that good. You might be sending them an email and they won't respond, or they will take their time and respond in three to four.
