We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Bandwidth overview
What is Bandwidth?
Bandwidth is a provider of communication APIs and services tailored to meet the needs of business users and developers wishing to build voice calling, text messaging, or 9-1-1 call connectivity into their software and applications. As a communications API provider with its own nationwide (USA) all-IP voice network, Bandwidth promises to be uniquely placed when it comes to high quality voice fidelity (SIP Trunking), real time reliability and access to 52 million US phone numbers. This backing then allows the Bandwidth Voice API to package features that include local and toll-free number support, optimized call routes, automated call control, text-to-speech, recording and transcription, wireless carrier interconnects and also detailed call record-keeping. The Messaging API then invites the development of apps offering SMS, MMS, toll-free (A2P) and threaded group messaging functionality, with notable features spanning long message support, pin codes and notifications, bi-directional Unicode and indeed the sending of emoji, imagery and audio. Security is then enhanced around text messaging with Bandwidth's API building blocks for layering on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), pre-built and setup already while open to custom tailoring to suit unique use cases.
In addition, Bandwidth's 9-1-1 access API provides specialized call connectivity to emergency services that includes automated instant number provisioning. Nationwide and mobile-ready 9-1-1 call routing is joined by MSAG address validation and dynamic location routing technology for aiding dispatchers with the accurate location information so critical to fast effective response. The platform goes on to support all these API's and associated services such as virtual phone number allocation and number porting with its own online Bandwidth dashboard providing intuitive admin access to phone number search and management, along with with reporting tools for monitoring aspects around call usage etc.
