Hopin has been great addition to the online precense now during the times that have been. It has made it possible for us to visit and host events aswell as network in a easy and fun way.

We worked with Rİng Central for their new product Hopin. It took Rİng Central 45 days to activate our account and we could not host events during this period. And when we asked them to change the start date of our contract due to that delay it again took them 4 months to respond and finally we received a negative response—still trying to resolve this. As a long-time Hopin customer, I find it sad to read bad reviews like ours in recent months.

Based on all the above we'd be extremely unlikely to recommend Hopin. It was a smooth experience for attendees who did manage to join us on the day, but behind the scenes the platform failed to deliver on many levels. At [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the Growth plan is not cost-effective, especially considering the product is not yet fully developed.

I  have enjoyed my experience of using the Hopin platform and I look forward to an online Symposium in July using this platform. I have used this software since booking my ticket for attendance early in the year. I have logged in to view, and to listen to speakers ahead of the main event. I have every confidence that this event will be excellent from a technical point of view, and that it will give me an experience as life-like as it could be short of an actual physical conference. The availability of the Hopin platform means that I can learn from countless experts in the natural resources business without having to fly from the UK to North America to attend a " physical" conference.

HOPIN TO THE FUTURE

Great for online events

They did not deliver what they promised. They told us that support would be available during our event and there was just this lousy email address. Also, we did test the software with speakers and companies that would speak this went without problems. On the day of the actual event, a lot of problems showed up. At the feedback session, they told us that there was an update rolled out a few days ago, which felt scripted.  As we already saw the same excuse on a review site this probably is otherwise, they would announce an update. Hopin is an example of a too fast-growing company focused on making revenue.

Too good to be true

Hopin was a solution for a corporate event that I helped manage for an organization that had their own Hopin account. We sent a live stream over to Hopin so that people could see our live studio production mixed in with some discussions that happened over Streamyard. I did find it a little confusing to know when/where I was in preview mode and whether or not my actions were impacting the real event, but in the end, it all went completely smoothly. I also didn't know where to find the recording options.

Using Hopin for Corporate Events

Overall, I've been very happy with Attendify! The value is incredible. And about 99% of our attendees across multiple events (over 700 high school students and families) tell us how great of an experience the platform was to use.

Great! Long hours, but so much better than having to work through someone else to get thework done. It was a lot of work, but in the end brought everyone involved a little bit closer as a team and with some new skills to brag about!

Hopin is a great way for us to execute our conferences in a more interactive way now that we cannot do them physically. Unfortunately the Nordic people are not as social so features such as Networking is not very much used which we would like to utilize more. Overall the platform has worked great with what we want to achieve with our events, the only major downside is the techncal issues we often face. Being able to use only certain browsers limit our registrants who cannot then join due to their company policies (but this is the case with many other platforms and so it is!)

I was able to sign up, log in and begin creating an app immediately. Any questions I had are answered within minutes on the chat feature. THere are TONS of great articles written as well to help design a better app.

Over all we have had a lot of success using  Attendify. In the handfull of times using the event app development software out events have sold old, we have had more people show up to our events and have had more time to plan and organize the actual events than worry about how we were going to promote, sell and other wise get the word out about the events all because of Attendify helping develope our event apps and keeping people informed and intouch with each other.

We are using Attendify for the 2nd time.  The app promotes interaction between our attendees, vendors and speakers.  It is really a plus for us as a small business, one price.

Overall I think it's worth using an App for our annual conference, even though as I said my audience, being outdoor educators are a bit resistant- they still look for pieces of paper. As the organiser though it makes my life easier. I have used Attendify for 3 years now and even though there are small changes I know it well and can navigate around it easily. Because our Org is non profit and we have very little funding I am very grateful that I get to use ATTendify at a slightly reduced rate- that makes the world of difference to our bottom line.

The Attendify app has provided a simple way to publish a mobile app for our event. I would recommend it for any small company on a limited budget.

Attendify helps us reach audiences that typically do not engage with our Society. In the past, many of our shows have been limited to strictly our members even though the event was free to the public. With Attendify, we have a message to share with tech-savvy users who might otherwise ignore us. 

The app makes it easy to share show details even with people who cannot attend the event locally. By encouraging attendees to share experiences through the app, we spread the show experience around. 

Our experience from investigation to set-up to implementation has been excellent. The Attendify team has been responsive, knowledgeable and very professional. We will certainly use this tool again.

Julie H.:                                              Hi, I'm Julie. And I'm the vice president of events. I give Hopin a four out of five stars, and for more reviews like this click below. We chose Hopin because we had been using Zoom and it just did not meet our needs for our larger events that really needed more enhanced function. So we did a really broad search. We looked at a number of different platforms. We looked at Socio, we looked at Remo, we looked at Ovation. We actually found a study that listed out 94 different platforms that we could look at. So our search was extremely broad, but at the end of the day, Hopin was our best fit. We love the one-to-one networking component, that was a huge selling point. And you could not beat the price point of Hopin.
                                                       We chose Hopin because we really liked how it was laid out. We also wanted something that was having some name recognition in our area. And so we knew other venues and organizations that were using Hopin. We thought that was incredibly important as we were moving forward, that people didn't have to go sign up for a million different platforms and Hopin was really gaining traction in our area. So we'd liked it for that reason as well. We also liked all of the functions that it offered, so we could have anything from an hour long event to a whole multiple day conference. So we really enjoyed getting to learn all about the features. And at the end of the day, those were just the best choice for us.
                                                       When we were onboarding with Hopin, it was very easy. It was very simple, user-friendly. We found it great from the backend, getting to understand how do we set up an event, how do we launch an event, how do we do a test event, how do we do a test event with our speakers. All of that was incredibly simple. Our users found Hopin probably even more simple than that. They only had to log in, set up a very quick account, which took seconds, and after that, they would just go to Hopin on the day of the event, log in and it was incredibly easy for them.
                                                       I would definitely say if you're looking at platforms and you're trying to decide, certainly reach out to someone, find someone in your network who has used Hopin because they can tell you how great it is. We have absolutely loved using it. We did our research and we found that Hopin was competitively priced. Hopin has acquired some other platforms that we were looking at as well. And so it's definitely growing, it's enhancing its features. So do your research, you'll probably come to the same conclusion that we did, which is Hopin was the way to go for us, and we've loved using it ever since.

So the pandemic drastically changed how our organization interacts with people. So going from an organization where we're meeting people face to face quite on a weekly basis, we have to pivot really quickly into an option where we would maintain that same connection with our members of our organization, but allow them to be safe at home in a virtual environment. So Hopin was the platform of choice, and we've used it from small meetings with 10 to 50 people to our large student summit with over 400 students and participants. What I like most about Hopin, you're able to maintain that large conference feel in a virtual environment. You can go on into the main stage where you can have a main presenter. Even have a backstage where you're able to have a conversation with your main presenter before they're brought onto the stage to do their presentation.
                                                       But you can also have breakout rooms where you can have the smaller discussions and people could leave that main stage to go into these breakouts to talk about different things, to learn about a new product, just similar to what it would feel like out of conference. In addition, you're able to set up booths what I really like. So if you have say vendors that you're working with that are selling their individual products, going through recruitment, or things like that, they can have their own separate booth where they can stay for the entirety of the conference as well.
                                                       So Hopin, it's like being in a virtual conference center of main stage, breakout, booths, but all in the safety of your own home. The only drawback that I have with using the Hopin platform is the training aspect of it, or the dry run aspect of using the platform. When you're organizing large scale conferences with many different vendors, they want to see what the platform is going to look like, their booths, their breakout sessions, well ahead of time. They want the whole feel of the setup. So going through that dry run and training aspect, I found that to be a little bit challenging in terms of setting it up and going through that iteration. But outside of that, the day of once you're executing and the event is going, it's an excellent platform to use.
