Truly is an all-cellular business phone system that avoids many of the problems inherent in tradition phone and VoIP systems by using mobile carrier services directly to route calls to dedicated business phone numbers. The app acts as a unified system that facilitates professional phone services for sales teams and support departments alike. Working equally as ably on iOS and Android devices, Truly makes use of existing cellular services, with official support for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon wireless carriers.
Truly works different from VoIP services. Whereas VoIP is dependent upon network bandwidth, Truly uses cellular service to receive calls. This provides near-landline call quality without the landline itself. Truly’s hosted voice network negates the need for a dedicated phone network in the office space and adds total mobility to telephony.
The built-in switchboard in Truly can manage up to seven simultaneous calls with full features, including call park, conferencing, and comprehensive routing. This duplicates all the traditional slate of private brand extension (PBX) phone services and put them in an entirely mobile environment.
In addition to call routing, Truly offers automated call forwarding, ring grouping, and call recording. Ring groups allow users to choose round robin and escalation schemes to create logical end-user experience for customers. The system also integrates CRM and helpdesk apps like Salesforce and Zendesk, respectively. Truly also integrates with email introduces click-to-call functionality to the with the browser help of Truly’s extension for Chrome. Click-to-call also works inside Gmail, facilitating streamlined integration between email and phone.
Truly features automatic recording of incoming calls, recording synchronization with CRM or helpdesk apps, and automated transcription of recorded calls. Truly shows relevant customer data (in screen pop-ups) during calls, based on call transcripts. During a call, users can review transcripts of early calls to better understand the evolution of the customer’s problem. Recorded calls can be retrieved later for quality review.
Truly users receive calls via dedicated local or toll free phone numbers. Numbers may be freely ported into and out of the system. Truly lets users set business hours to allow call routing only during those times when support or sales teams are available to field customer inquiries. A fully customizable API is also available in Truly, allowing the app to work with systems across various industries.
