Basic Authentication:

This level includes simple and convenient authentication methods, such as SMS verification and basic username/password combinations. While it offers a level of security for general document signing.

Advanced Authentication:

The Advanced level incorporates more robust and secure authentication methods, such as iDIN, DigiD. These methods offer a higher degree of identity verification, providing enhanced security for digital transactions. Qualified Authentication:

At the highest level of authentication, Signhost offers Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES). Methods like itsme® with QES, passport selfie check with QES, and zealID with QES are legally equivalent to handwritten signatures and hold the highest level of trust and validity under European regulations (eIDAS). This level is specifically designed for critical and legally binding documents, providing the strongest level of identity verification and legal validity.

ID Proof:

With remote digital identification, individuals can be authenticated using their passport or ID card, complemented by a live facial scan.

These elements are cross-referenced, generating a credibility score. As an additional layer of security, NFC chips can be read during identification.
